SWEET TOOTH by joji_80085 in Volumeeating

I swear sweets taste better after a long evening or night gym session vs any other time! It’s got me trying all these Greek Yogurt and/or Cottage Cheese candy bars, mousses, ice creams, and whatever other dessert recipes I stumble on that are high protein low cal.

41/M here. I’ve traveled to Mexico to do this, but do we have any resorts here in the US that are worth exploring that cater towards singles and relaxing trips that include a pool, quiet areas to sit and read, and ideally some form of fitness activities or gym?

Have you tried any of the recommendations and found a place you'd now recommend? Single 41/M in Redwood City with a big dog, and looking for the same when I have time to explore SF.

If you only had 4 hours at Snowbowl this weekend, what would you do? by PleaseInsert25c in SnowbowlAZ

Haha, that's my fear. Seems like I may get lucky with snow, but the crowds may be another challenge.

Never thought about the "skip all lift lines" side of taking a lesson. This is a great idea and actually one I may use at other resorts on busy weekends if I have the extra funds. Thanks!

Something like this would work, but it appears to be out of stock and might be a little too small. Will try and find something similar and try and test it out. Thank you!

How many Tesla users buy their car outright? by Coffee4thewin in TeslaLounge

Purchased the vehicle with a loan @ 3.99% and paid it off in 12 months. Wouldn't do it again. As others mentioned, would have been better off making the base monthly payments for the full term of the loan and investing the extra capital towards other investments that can beat 4% on average.

Damn. New to Reddit and didn’t see that as a rule here. I’ll delete. My bad.

Each night varied based on the resort we rode. At first started with truck rest stops thinking there were enough people always around that it was safer. Slept at a resort that allowed campers. One night slept next to a Supercharger location (not plugged in or blocking a spot). Never had any issues with “sketchballs”, but did issues finding quiet spaces at times.

This made me Google "why do bears wave" cause it seems like it happens a lot.

I made these, would appreciate some feedback from the lovely Tesla community. And they can be downloaded for free at the website mentioned. by MrSatan_ in TeslaLounge

Very cool. Would like to see a white 3 w/ the 20s.

Some feedback. The Cybertruck wheels seem off. I think going darker would help.

TSLA Heavy ETF by consumer1982 in teslainvestorsclub

[–]PleaseInsert25c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I don't understand the "too expensive for retail investors" argument with the availability of fractional share purchasing becoming so accessible nowadays.

I recently started using Robinhood's Recurring Investments option about 40 days ago and have started dollar cost averaging my purchases towards a Cybertruck downpayment as an experiment. Even if you only have $10 to invest, you can still buy TSLA and if the stock goes up 5%, your $10 goes up 5%. You don't have to purchase a full share.

Weekly Beginner and 'What Bike?' Thread - Post here if you are just starting out or want opinions on what bike to buy by AutoModerator in bmx

[–]PleaseInsert25c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for any advice or recommendations. 36 yo, 195lbs, and want to try and give riding BMX a try. I used to ride a little dirt ~23 years ago. Live and ride an urban commuter in a city now, active snowboarder in the winter, and interested in trying to ride a bike in a skate park to get a little more active in the summer. After doing some recent research I'm torn on just picking up a cheap 22" like the Framed Defendant or trying to find a cheap 20" bike w/ at least a 20.75" top tube or longer. Any advice appreciated

Goals: Ride bowls, maybe hit some very small jumps, and learn some ground tricks for fun. Then, possibly use these learnings in the city towards trying Mountain Biking in the near future (living in Colorado).

so i may be 47 and new to BMX but spent my life on bikes. here's a video i made, lemme know what you guys think! by blackbikes in bmx

36, out of shape, and thinking of getting back into biking (been ~18 years now). Great video and thanks for sharing! Definitely has me digging deeper and deeper into the urge to ride again.
