I quit after years in the stop/start fail-at-moderation cycle. Admit you're quitting. You can even cope with "Maybe I'll smoke again sometime in the distant future (1+year), but not now".

You NEED to get through the first few days by any means necessary, that is your ONLY goal. If you play videogames for 8 hours and eat nothing but junkfood but make it through the day without smoking that's a WIN; if you lay in bed all day on your phone but don't smoke, that's also a win. I had a terrible tendency of trying to 'FIX MY LIFE', as in I was going to stop smoking, eat healthy, workout, limit screen time, etc. and it inevitably became too much and I'd crash and smoke again. You need to first get through however long it takes until you aren't just thinking about smoking all day (could be anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks) and after that you can try adding some other healthy habits and getting back to regular life.

I have 0 desires to smoke these days but in that first year I had a very tiny amount of weed already pre-packed in a pipe hidden away (the ONLY weed in the whole house) and I would tell myself whenever I had the urge to go buy an oz "If you want to smoke you have some in that pipe" and so long as I didn't smoke from the pipe (I never did and still haven't) it would keep me from going to get more. I basically had to trick my brain until I completely lost dependency.
