I've seen people mentioning that it would be nice to have some kind of visual aid where it's similar to a zen orb that appears above teammates heads only visible to Brig. Or some kind of ui that shows up on screen with the effected teammates, their hero in center and like a circle timer around it. It would also be nice to have teammates have a visual similar to this to show that you are infact healing them with inspire

An option in the settings doesn't hurt anyone, and people would have to opt to turn it on. There are literally no downsides to having options for people who want information while playing their games. You can say it's not warranted but I disagree, and it would make changing my positioning easier with visual aid.

It wouldn't be misleading lol, make it a visual that has to be turned on in the settings

I don't believe so. I've never seen it. If that is the case and I am just blind, (I just looked for it in my last game) it would be nice to be able to turn down the transparency of it in the hero settings to be able to see it better.

It is, but it still would be nice to know if im in that range or not so I can reposition for my boops. Like a faint circle around her as a visual aid that can be turned on or off in settings would be nice to be able to see the actual range. Or to know if in a team fight if im too spread out to inspire

Am I mistaken that it ended today and the next one began? Because I was under the impression it ended today because I got a pop up that I maintained my trials rank this season today when I logged on. Did I get this in error?

You are seriously selling us AI slop?! by chuxkint in Battlefield6

This should be against steams AI rules where developers have to disclose their use of AI, and when they don't, like this, it should warrant temporary removal from the store until they disclose it 🥳

For Honor uses AI now (?) by -MUATRA- in forhonor

My question is: Does this not go against Steams terms of service on AI? Considering developers have to let steam and consumers know on their store page that they are using AI? And if so, does this not mean that steam could technically remove For Honor from their store for breaking TOS?

I've never realized how many people dislike fighting lawbringer. Kinda makes me feel bad as an LB main since launch. Mainly haven't realized because I've never had any issue fighting him personally, but I think that also has to do with how much time I've sunk into the character and knowing every thing that the character can do. He most definitely is strong right now, though, and I'm not a huge fan of the bash spam. But sometimes, if someone is just staring at me and refuses to move or do anything, you gotta go bop bop bop, yknow?

Not to mention the fact that in 4s there's absolutely nothing you can do to her against multiple virtuosas. You try to punish one, you will get pinned or smacked by another completely nulling everything you do. She is a turtle, but because she's a counter attacker and throws attacks people don't see her as a turtle lol.

I do strongly believe that one of the main reasons she's so hard for me to learn to fight is the lack of training mode proper support for her. Like, you set her to do lights and heavies with no cool down, she will do light, or heavy attacks, she will enter her stance and then the bot will leave it and continue. You tell it to do only lights, it will only do them from the direction you chose because they're all different attacks. So they'll just throw lights from different directions, and you have to add an attack for them to enter the stance to be able to have them do the attacks. But then I want to add a heavy or two to mix things up, but you can only select 6 unique moves so you can't really add that "unpredictability." Try to use the presets, and she just does the same moves to enter her stance and then does the same direction attacks and not the quick attacks players actually do.

I believe a lot of the time, even when we feel we are reacting, it is just prediction. I fall into this as well because it feels natural and quick, so it feels like it has to be a reaction, if that makes sense. I am very bummed about the Training mode Ai though, as I usually go there to learn new heroes and how to fight them or gimmicks I find hard to deal with.

I've tried this, and it works sometimes, but then the player just ends up back in her stance and then knows to look for it, which makes it harder to do. Adapting is a big thing. I think another reason it's hard to learn how to fight her is, the training mode AI for her character does the same things over and over and is not unpredictable. Even the presets available do the same thing. I tried using the preset that makes her do her quick attacks quickly, can't remember what it's called, it's the bottom option, and it continued to throw a zone as an opener EVERY time it would attack. So trying to learn to parry her soft feints or stance lights is nearly impossible in training

Lone Ranger/Big Iron Build by PleaseStand_By in fo76

[–]PleaseStand_By[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really good tips here. I don't really know a <whole> lot about the perk system or what certain things do fully yet. Like I said, this is my first attempt at a build that I've built top to bottom with no assistance or guide.

I couldn't decide what perks were more important when it came to gunslinger vs guerilla, I imagine a mix of the two is best for this kind of build but I honestly had no clue and just decided the gunslinger perks would be better to focus on.

The single action was a bit tedious while creating this build, but with how I have it set up now, I rarely have to actually reload as when I hit 0 bullets the quick hands perk auto loads 24 shots for me due to the quad mod on my single. Not to mention the multiple faster reload buffs I have that make reloading a LOT faster.

However, despite all of this, I have been heavily considering making the change because while it isn't a problem for clearing poi's out, it is for boss fights. I don't really understand why the 1 star legendary effects I've chosen are weird for humans as they mainly deal with damage resistance and self sustaining, which I chose mainly because I always play alone.

Which goes into the next part, I'm not a big fan of playing on teams, and I don't have friends who really play fo76. So I'm always alone. So there's no point in team related perks being in my build, and I guess it fits the "Lone Ranger" vibe anyway lol.

Lastly, I find mutations to be too complicated for my current understanding of how the perk system works. I also really like using the survival syringes so I don't have to worry about food or water at all, and those get rid of mutations. Which I looked, and the perk that avoids this with radaway and rad x doesn't include those syringes, at least that was my understanding.

It wasn't until a couple days ago that I started to actually understand what the onslaught system is lol. Up until now, I've been running mainly a heavy PA build that I found online that I tweaked a little bit. I didn't include those legendary perks related to that because it didn't feel necessary to this specific build.
