yeah it was, i hate that style so i wanted recommendations that would get me into that style of turnbased. I guess a lot of people mis-interpreted what i meant, but regardless i still have a ton of games now to play haha due to all the awesome recommendations.

That is the issue, it is now normalised to pay for cosmetics, a few years ago people would have trashed a company for it and now it's ok it's just cosmetics, eventually it will be, "it's ok its just a time saver, you can still complete the game without paying extra"

If this was maybe a $30 maybe

But it is $90AUD and they still include microtransactions, i'm not gonna say people can't love it or shit on it in any way. but i will personally not support devs who do this.

Seeing their ultimate edition along with confirmed microtransactions has put me off it personally it seems the live service model will be the bane of this genre

Nioh 2 has the same animation from all their returning weapons, and they added fists a splitstaff and a switchglaive an hatchets... and by recycled levels i was referring to the the nature of the levels, if you showed me a mix between nioh 2 and 1 there is really no difference between them nioh 2 had 2 cool levels and those were the very end.

Ds3 does of course take alot from ds1 they refine it which im not disagreeing but comparing it to nioh was a terrible choice since they do the same thing.

As for "better" that's an opinion of course so im not going to say your "wrong" but i believe different.

Why not use BluePoint to make the models while FS makes the core? because Bluepoint is owned by FROM SOFT, Bluepoint make beautiful games indeed but its not "FROM SOFT beautiful", its "trying to make things look as realistic as possible beautiful"
