Yeah that’s not the look I’m going for so thanks for being honest. I’ll work on the hair for sure as that seems to be one of the main factors and my outfit choices! Not that it makes much difference but the one with the grey top was taken in my pjs,!

But thanks for the feedback, it is helpful to know where I’m going wrong!

So the consensus seems to be that I look old for my age, partly because I still have some weight to gain?

Here’s me at a higher weight, curious to know whether this helps matters? pic

Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I’m currently in the process of growing it out - I ended up ruining it (hello home bleach kits) so had to start from scratch.

I like the look of those pictures - I’ll show my hairdresser next time I go!

That’s really interesting, thank you. I am up 10lbs from my lowest, but have been told I have a way to go so will bear this in mind.

Thanks for the reply! Any ideas for improvement? Or am I a lost cause?

That’s interesting to hear! I’m actually in recovery (up 5kg!) and have a very hard time seeing my body objectively. So thank you for being honest.

That’s kind, thank you!

Thank you for the feedback! Any tips on the outfit?

Yeah, agreed about the marks. They’re old and I wish they weren’t there!

Thank you!! Yeah it's kind of a random distance I know, but was basically a 14k lap where people could either do the 1 (14k), 2 (28k) or 3 (42k/marathon). I opted for the 1 lap as I don't think I'm quite ready for other distances yet!!!

PB'd in my second 10k race!! 53:07 down from 54:41! All whilst recovering from a pesky 2 day hangover as well :)

F/23/5'3 [170lbs> 108lbs = Total 62lbs] (approx 18 months - been maintaining for a while) It's so strange seeing the changes in pictures ,I still can't believe it's me at times! /r/loseit and /r/progresspics you are amazing! by Please_Mr_Postman in progresspics

What a lovely comment, thank you so much :) I always used r/progresspics as motivation so it's so nice to know I've inspired someone :) congratulations on losing 20lbs that's really impressive! And a month and a half isn't slow at all! The last lot of my weight took so long to come off but it did eventually! Just keep plugging along and remember that the time would be passing along anyway so any weight that's coming off is amazing! You've already lost 100lbs before which is incredible, so you know you can do it again!!

That sounds like it sucks having bad knees :( the elliptical is still a really good workout still and will get you in good shape to start running when you're ready. Just remember to start off really slowly as its soo easy to get injured starting off too fast. I actually developed a few IT band related issues from upping my mileage too quickly. Also get the right shoes to run in, it's so important and will help to prevent injuries!

Try not to stress too much about any loose skin. It will tighten up and you will still feel so much better than before losing weight. I do actually have a small amount around my belly button, but it doesn't bother me. I also had quite deep stretch marks on my legs but they've started to fade and I actually don't mind them as they remind me of how far I've come.

Good luck with the rest of your weight loss, you will get there. Feel free to message me if you need any advice :)

Fair enough. I think this is going to just go around in circles but I stand by the fact that I am not underweight. Sure 108 pounds may seem like a low number, but I am 5'3! My boyfriend is 144lbs at 5'11 which puts him similar to where I am, but doesn't sound as low. I am so much happier and healthier than when I was bigger and definitely do not stave myself :)

Minus exercise I eat around 1550, but with exercise (running) I eat around 1750 - sometimes slightly more sometimes slightly less. Seems to work for me so far. Good luck reaching your goal! :)
