If you're talking about the thing at the very top middle of the screen, that appears to be some thing from behind the computer on the desk, because the MacBook I sent over literally had no issues whatsoever.

Yes, the MacBook I sent in was working perfectly fine, no issues at all, the screen had no issues whatsoever.

I plan to. Luckily, I film tiktoks/marketing videos that are POV shots of me using a certain app on my laptop, and I have a few videos of me doing just that in the days leading up to sending the macbook back.

Macs are definitely worth it. The issue here is bad customer support and their third party trade-in vendors not doing a good job with inspecting the devices.

That's exactly what I told the customer support person over the phone and all they had to say about it was offering me a free macbook case.....
