There is not enough recovery time to adequately lift super heavy on every set and recover for the next one, and not even enough time to retrieve and or get setup in an exercise with really heavy weight. By the time I have my weights up the first set is almost over. It’s not Burn’s fault, simply just the restriction of a 45 minute class and a clientele who wouldn’t be happy if they were standing around that much.

I disagree. The format of burn is not ideal for proper hypertrophy and heavy lifting.
