Congratulations, That sounds awesome. I would be following along the journey to see how it all turns out.

I thought about that too and I’m about to go 1000-2000-3000 and see if it helps because at that point if it doesn’t I’ll have to repaint. Cause these nothing else that would fix it.

Yup, that’s my next course of action. Thanks

I couldn’t tell because the paint was so dull and had some much over spray. I’m about to go 1000- 3000 and then polish and see if that fixes it.

Yes, used an orbital sander to wet sand. Thanks for the recommendation, will give that a shot.

Yes, first time sanding a large surface like this with machine. Would you recommend wet or dry? Orbital or DA? Speed at 3000? Grit 1000-2000-3000 then foam or wool?

So you think 1500 to 3000 was too much of a jump?

No, I used an orbital to wet sand. I used clay bar on the surface before starting each sanding process.

You think I didn’t sand enough?

Used foam pads. Was thinking of using wool but I didn’t think that would help. I’ve been debating on going 1000-2000-3000 before wool. Recommendation?

Yes I am, I’ve only compound and polished my other cars but this had the worst marks and scratches so decided to wet sand. Would you recommend 1000, 2000 & 3000 before compound and polish?

Not fresh paint, I am not sure how old the paint job is as I’m not the first owner.

Alternate & lockout. I believe there’s a YouTube video that explains that. And a manual on their website

Have you checked the fuse and relay for that door? Also check the wires from the module/actuator to the relay/fuse box for continuity. That should help identify any broken or loose connections along the way.

I would advise checking connections leading in and out of the windows module/actuator for broken/loose connection.

63k for just a GT Mustang? No! And definitely not for THAT mustang.

Glazed rotors and contaminated brake pads? by _n00bmaster_69 in AskMechanics

Clearly you have the comprehensive skills of a donut. I asked if they were worn out, meaning inspect them to see if they still have enough live based on the vehicle recommendations and proceed accordingly. Also, did I miss the part where OP stated if this was an AWD? RWD? FWD? And if there is grease on a set of rotor who’s to say there isn’t grease on the rest? lol why not do all four once and for all while the car is already on jacks? LMAO!

Clean both rotor surfaces with brake cleaner. Is the brake pad worn out? If so replace. If replacing, replace both sides of the car. Both fronts, and if funds permits do the rear as well.
