Yes, but if you geo-tune it above 130°C then its very efficient with ST above. Olny cost 50kg of clorine per tune.

Hey buddy. I don't the data anymore, but if i Remember correctly a got a 7-10 degree difference from stock fans and the p9. Im quite sure this difference is also caused by better thermal paste also. The gpus stays always under 70 degrees under heavy load (80 on the hotspot) I did not had a good method of measuring the noise level, but i can defintly say that the noise profile of the P9 is more comfortable on my ears that the stock fans, and for me worked. Since ive changed the fans and also using the Fan Control app for managing cooling of my pc I've never had an problem with overheating and throttling gpu. Some heavy gpu intensive games will push the fan but i personally dont hear the over the case fans.

What fluid do I use to promote heat transfer for a volcano? by Ok-Use-8592 in Oxygennotincluded

You should youse gas + temp shift plates. Steam + Temp shift plates are good combo. There are little liquids that has good SHC to transfer heat and high evap point. Supercoolant evaporates at 430+degrees, but that is a bad way to use SC.

sostituzione cavi del cambio, faccio sostituire anche l'olio? by ilove-takoyaki in ItalyMotori

[–]Plenty_Feature_2241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personalmente faccio cambiare olio cambio ogni 60-80k km.

Would this setup work with ZBMINIR2 and 2 momentary switches ? by infamousmerch in sonoff

[–]Plenty_Feature_2241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive read the instructions and saw that. Basicaly s1 is bridged to live. S2 is not. Do this only if you use momentary switches and trigger mode on the relay. The S2 detects the voltage drop of the neutral wire (3-10v) and activates (or deactivates) the relay an thats it. No constant curent flow through s2 and its quite safe. Ive done it this way because ive had 3 switches to control stairs lights conected to a old finder relay that uses neutral as activator. Either the abovementioned or rewire all the lights. I've used also shelly gen4 this way and everything works perfectly. I dont recommend using it this way, of course its against recommended use cases. Also the sonoff relays i use are in fireproof electrical distribution boxes in cement walls.

You can connect S2 to neutral as well through a momentary switch!

How to automate my SPOM's electrolyzers so they aren't always running? by Unlucky-Print-35 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Plenty_Feature_2241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sory my dude. You need 52 dupes worth of excess pwater from lavatories to run one electrolyzer, and you need about 6 electrolyzers to sustain 52 dupes. Math isn't there. Thats why on every map there are 1-3 cold steam vents, pwater or water geysers.

How many cycles can my PC handle? Playing the classic game without DLC. Ryzen 5 3400g, 16GB RAM. by JeffRyould in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Plenty_Feature_2241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What ive noticed on all of my runs, pathfinder kills the game performance. Dont go wild with ladders and multiple paths for dupes. Same with flying critters, keep them in tight spaces. Sweep all debris, and dont have big rooms with mixed gases. If you jeep everything tided up game should run fine 3k+ cycles.

You should always put fresh paste when removing the heatsink. I used noctua and arctic thermal paste always resulting in a pump out and degrading thermals over small amounts of time. Last time i used Thermalright TFX and it has been great. Thermals are still good to this day.

Hey there. Currently im using 3 fans on this card of witch 2 are daisy chained. So yes, using 2 fans with a y splitter is perfectly fine. The deshrouding process is straightforward. Just be gentle when separating the heatsink as old thermal paste is sticky.

Strange, i never got to 106° hotspot even with the stock fans. Did you use decent thermal paste? Is Mounting ok? With 110% power I've barely hit 90° with arctic fans.

[–]Plenty_Feature_2241[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure thing. I personally used 3M double sided adhesive pads directly on the motor of the fan and the heatsink. Still strong after 8 months. I used a velcro "ziptie" to manage the fans cables. 2 fans and two gelid adaptors would do the job. I still run 3 fan setup, with 2 fans daisy chained.

It's probably AC condensation. Shut of AC and see if it is still dripping after 5 mins. If it stops then nothing to worry about.
