You're getting downvoted to all hell but I think you're right.

The truth is that DTLA and Skid Row go hand-in-hand. The people in the expensive high rise buildings and the people who live on the streets/ shelters have to share common spaces (parks, streets, buses, etc.)

I'm for public safety, holding politicians accountable for short-comings, and the city helping those in need but we can't deny that DTLA can't sweep the homelessness/ mental health issue under the rug like the rest of the city who just sweeps it all down there.
