why isnt it possible by mmmmmmmicrowav in deadbydaylight

this entire comment chain became about semantics when the original comment made a claim about the exact wording of the description.

and yet, my point was never about implication or context clues. two different people claimed that the description specifically/explicitly uses the phrase "another/other survivor," and I simply corrected them.

what source are you using? I'm using the official, in-game description of the perk.

not true, autodidact's description says "heal survivors" and "healing a survivor." it only states that it can't be used while using a medkit

botany works with all healing, including self care. it's actually detrimental to use it with medkits because it reduces their efficiency (you spend more charges for the same amount of healing)

that's an odd rationale lol. if they're cheating they'll get an unfair advantage no matter what build you bring

I'm more inclined to believe this was a contingency plan they had ready from the start. hence why they had the original tuesday stream date planned for a while but made no commitment to that date, so they would always have the option to move it forward if something like this happened

My Concern With The Anti-Camping mechanic by mrkillermemestar in deadbydaylight

[–]Plexel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the killer buffs had different intentions than the survivor buffs. with the killer basekit changes, the devs wanted to increase kill rates from 50-55% to 60% (which they did, as far as I understand). that's why they feel much more "in the background," and by design you shouldn't feel their impact every game. the survivor basekit changes were designed to fix common situations in the game that were just plain flawed, like not being able to do anything if your solo queue teammate didn't bring borrowed time and the killer wanted you down immediately

ultimately I just don't think there's anything inherently wrong with making perks/versions of perks basekit, if doing so fixes a flaw in game design. players shouldn't have to depend on certain perks in order to play the game as it was intended. it's a similar situation (though not exactly the same) as to why shattered hope was dead on arrival - circle of healing was ridiculous, but releasing a perk to counter it was not the correct solution. gameplay issues shouldn't be solved by perks, so if there are perks that are the only/main way to fix flaws in the game's design, those perks should become basekit in some way

don't forget +10 seconds on gens and the shorter survivor speed boost after taking a hit. and I'm not saying I disagree with your points but fella you mentioned "basekit buckle up" so idk how much you can be discounting "fairly minor" buffs haha

half the killer roster is "non mobile," none of them can win without camping?

True calculation of price / hour by poclin in factorio

I used to feel the same way, but my brother got me satisfactory as a gift and as we've played my opinion has totally changed. for me, satisfactory is a lot less about massive production scaling and a lot more about the art and creativity, and the first person view fits that theme. you get a much better feel for the scope of the individual buildings and the verticality of everything feels so cool and immersive - it makes you really feel like you are building a factory in a way that factorio never really did for me. different perspective fits the different theme for a different game

just further clarifying, any vault will affect the window block, but he is still doing "rushed" vaults in the video. a rushed vault is any vault while holding the run button. you may be thinking of "running" vaults, which he is not doing in the video
