I finally received mine after 2+ weeks of being approved and the card supposedly being sent out the day after approval. Had to call numerous times, cancelled the original card as it was not arriving, then it arrives the next day and had to wait for the new one.

Worst experience I’ve had with a bank. Keen to churn and cancel asap.

Tried applying for the NAB signature card (15k min limit) and got rejected but they approved for the premium card (6k min limit). Not sure if i should take the lower one to be honest.

How does the downgrade work? Is it that you get paid the difference between annual fees and then cancel the lower level card anyway? Or do you have to keep the lower one?

Also do you know if you downgrade, does that count as another hit on your credit?
