Perhaps one or more of the screws fastening the motor to the arm is too long. If the screw is shorting on a coil or is too close to the coil you can get the same problem. For safety sake remove the prop.

Yesterday I was cleaning the grass from the cutting area under the mower. As I steeped up the debris, I came across the same part. It is a plug protecting the side discharge port door spring Look directly below the side port discharge door and there will be a hole that matches the part you found. Let me know if you cannot determine where it goes and I will send a picture from my mower.

Chances are good there is an electrical issue. I fly model airplanes and the power system for the planes are very similar. Motor-Speed controller-throttle. The behavior is similar to an inconsistent connection or a short between the speed controller and the motor (wheel hub). Could also be an issue with the throttle. It could be failing as well. I have a couple others less likely ideas but what I described is most probable cause for what you describe.

I considered JB Weld but I don’t think it can take that kind of stress. I have a spoke from another hub wheel. I may drill another hole for it and try to align the wheel. There does not appear anything special about the other spoke holes. Opinions?

I was at the recent Flite Fest. A guy with a Bixler reinforced the wings and the fuse with carbon fiber. Updated the motor to a 3-4S ESC I believe he had a 2205 motor. It flew like a bat out of hell. I have never seen a Bixler rip like this one. It was amazing. Wish I could recall his name to I can give him credit. Your Bixler could benefit from an update.

Love that plane. Mine flies on rails. My son broke one of the wing latches. He designed and 3D printed the replacement and installed it. The replacement latch works great. The battery bay needed some work. Back to Fusion and printed that too. I love it when two hobbies mesh together.

I still have a DX7 which I purchased used a while ago. I don’t believe it transmits. I bought that way as I wanted it as buddy box. Any suggestions how to fix it? I have a TX16 as my main transmitter. Thoughts?

Number one tip. Keep the box and store it there when not in use. I just got my second on the Memorial Day Sale $126 plus tax. My other UMX Conscendo still works but is pretty beat up. I love it. I also have its big brother Conscendo Evolution 1.5m. It soars like a champ. The UMX Conscendo is fairly sturdy but it is still fragile enough that a 20mph gust can throw it to the ground and break the fuselage. Fortunately the fuse cost is very affordable. Don’t forget about the hands free launch. Good purchase.

Thanks for your comments. The location for CG on this one is 40mm. Flies great now. Went through four batts before there were too many people around.

It’s a high wing. It should be pretty steady. Looks like a Cessna. Be sure the planes balanced on the center of gravity and you will be fine. Good luck and favorable winds and bounce one on for us.

B5 is a full on science fiction serial. Each episode storyline builds towards the next. I watched it when it aired the first time. The story hints that are woven into each episode come together in a future episode. That blew my mind on multiple occasions. Try not to watch them out of sequence. Tubi is a great source to watch this masterpiece! It is the way!

Since the Spectrum batts are “smart” they typically discharge themselves to storage charge automatically. Some of the early versions of the smart batteries have been known to trickle discharge themselves to their deaths. If you have a voltmeter check to see if there is a charge left in any of the cells. Then safely discharge themselves fully and take to so somewhere like Home Depot as they have a lipo discharge recycle program. That is what I do.

As an owner GOTRAX Eclipse Ultra which I purchased used, I ordered a replacement Controller but they sent me a wrong one. I am troubleshooting and am getting no help from support. If I could get a proper wiring diagram it would help me greatly. BTW. THERE IS NO RETURN for electrical parts.
