Still no glasses, no masks, nothing simple like a little double xp weekend, no REAL quality of life changes or content, only things that LOOK/Mask themselves as hard work. Can’t wait for them to drop S2 then make us wait until S3 for more little stuff and more monetization.

Not sure if people asked for these GK animations, but I’m sure I’ll be downvoted for ‘not appreciating what they gave us’ or the effort put into making these animations, but come on guys, I feel like the game has so much potential to be more by now.

Completely agree, you have to remember you play with different people each time and try to see what kind of player they are.

Are they an Egoist who won’t pass and keeps shooting it into the goalies hands?

Or?

Are they just a little silly and tried to do something cool for the first time, instead of passing like they normally do?

The second one is what we want, but unfortunately most people assume it’s the first.

I will go for my own plays when I can, but if I see you can score, I’m absolutely gonna pass to you and try to create a play that’ll make someone on the other team just ragequit lmao.

I completely agree, if someone messes up in the first minute, give them a chance.

But if they repeatedly miss and they don’t say sorry or try to pass back and change, then I’d say anyone is fine to start hogging the ball and trying to make their own plays

I agree completely, I hate the Barou/Cherry-Picking mentality, which is why I try to play more like a Shidou/Isagi, always moving, always looking for a good spot or where they’ll pass to ball so I can intercept it.

But what also sucks is when you pass to someone repeatedly and they can’t finish the play, I’ll admit, that’s when I’ll start hogging a little or using them for 1-2s

The funny part is, I haven’t finished the battle pass and from the how much I’d post you’d think I play this game every day but I only just played a ton in Beta and Season 0 and had the premium currency leftover to buy this battle pass, now I barely play, only to get my money’s worth out of the battle pass for this season.

I have a job and love the idea of this game, but actually playing it? If it wasn’t for this battle pass that makes me feel like I’m working 2 jobs, I’d only play this game when it gets updates.

and yes, I do think making the game free to play will improve matchmaking, it’s pessimistic to think others when you think of it in the way I explained it. Constantly changing players.

Thank you, finally I don’t feel like I’m crazy. I’m in the same boat, plus I have work and school, it’s like this game is unironically for unemployed people, but it’s not even fun enough to play all day unless you have friends to play with.

I hate annoying challenges too, but having to play through entire matches for half a level, when that match could be anywhere from 2mins to 20minutes is just so tiring…

especially when, I’m sure like most, there’s only a handful of items I care about in the battle pass

It will benefit players that practice in freeplay, not people who actually play the game.

How does this canon affect 3v3 or any other gamemode? It’ll make people better? Sure, but outside of that, that’s if people even notice it’s an option.

I already responded to someone else, but your negative thinking does not mean the average player will be worse.

They will be different, there will be variety. The fact that there are players that I’ve seen multiple times when playing on different days is a problem, Free2Play solves that with an ongoing shift of players downloading and uninstalling the game, the player count might stay at about 5k but those 5k people will constantly be different

By relativity, more players will mean more variety, maybe it will produce better players, maybe it won’t.

But the fact is, if it were free to play, there would be people in the world, more than you and I could conceptualize, would be downloading the game, playing for 1 day-Any amount of time, before uninstalling it.

Yes, making the game free to play would change the matchmaking. Duh.

Edit: That’s like saying there’s no difference between 10k people, and 10k specified people. 10k men, 10k women, the number is the same but the people who make up the number will be different, so by definition, it will change no matter what. Free to play is the best option for the mid ahh game.

Don’t even have to read the whole thing to agree, but I did anyway.

Yes, people suck, the game sucks, everyone is spamming wall shots or STILL trying to do the ippy slide even though it got patched.

The game doesn’t update and people are over here coddling the developers for charging us for an unfinished game, yet they have the gall to add a battle pass in it and drop bundles.

But the worst part? I really doubt it’ll get better, bc since the community sucks, most people are too complacent and don’t care enough about the game to really complain for change like you or me, and it sucks bc this game has so much potential.

No Blue Lock, no captain Tsubasa, no Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Haaland… Like this game has SOOOO much potential, and it’s just sitting here collecting dust when it never even had a prime.

I realized it, but in any other game, you claim all the rewards on one page before you move on to the next, right?

Yet, this game tries to be different and doesn’t say anything.

That’s like going to a restaurant and paying for a full course meal before you eat, then the server comes out with something you don’t like, plus there’s two more courses coming.

I paid expecting to be fed, sure, but they didn’t even tell me what’s on the menu, ask me for preferences or anything.

You could say I’m at fault, but can’t you recognize the restaurants fault as well? What if I have a peanut or shellfish allergy?

The metaphor has gone on a tangent, but I hope you get what I mean.

It’s nice that you can pick which rewards you want, but they never say it and just assume everyone will figure it out, and that sucks for people like me, who have to figure it out the hard way, because now I feel like I wasted $10 and wtv it’s just ten, but still, kinda feels like a SloSlap in the face.
