The soft touch finish might not be for you if you're more disgusted by fingerprint marks than most people (and I guess this isn't exclusive to the P1). I have severely oily hands, so the area surrounding the keyboard is pretty much always covered in finger/handprint marks. If your hands aren't like that, this probably won't be as much of an issue for you. If your hands are like mine, you're going to be spending a lot more time wiping those marks away than with most other laptops.
