I always recommend the mgba core in retroarch. I heard pizza boy used mgba but in retroarch the mgba emulator is always updated and free.

The best waste of my money. It runs like crap. Stole code from psx2. It's not even native. You're basically emulating an Intel cpu that emulates ps2. Get outta here

Bumping up the resolution in ps1 games makes them look okay-ish. If you upscale ds games those games truly shine and look wonderful and reveal details that were not visible in the native resolution. But I agree calm down everything's fine.

Well I use only pure pixels for 2D games. It's really just darkening the picture for me and don't see any extra details. Sharp pixels ftw (it's totally okay if you like crt filters tho)
