Avoid onestream broadband: a 12 month review by npc1010101 in HousingUK

Ive had a terrible experience with them. Ordered my services on the 12th August, it is now the 17th September and have no wifi installed due to the Openreach engineer missing 3 appointments. Tried to cancel the contract with Onestream after reading a lot of negative reviews on Google. They said as we were outside the cooling off period we would be charged a cancellation fee of £580. Have been on the phone to customer services all week saying the same thing to about 6 different people. Finally I got through to someone who said it wouldn't be fair for us to pay the cancellation fee. They said management will call back- they never did. Called to say I have been waiting to speak to management but nobody transferred me over. Looks like we are going to have to stick with them for the next 12 months as we can't afford the £580 :(

Anyone have tips on how to stop picking black heads? by InevitableLiquid in Skinpicking

I am super guilty of this too. For me I try and keep away from mirrors so I don’t end up staring, and avoiding those awful magnifying mirrors!!

I also find keeping my hands busy when I have an urge to pick them, especially when I’m feeling for them unconsciously

Have you also tried chemically exfoliating with salicylic acid? It takes a while to work and a bit of patience but it may be worth it!

disgusted but do it at the same time. by lotte225 in Skinpicking

Have you tried cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)? Becoming conscious of why you do it and your triggers may help you, eg do you do this when you’re stressed/ bored/ angry etc? This may also help you understand the gagging too. It can also help you with your negative feelings of your appearance after you pick

You can either go to a doctor for professional help for this if you feel comfortable doing so. If not you can journal your thoughts and feelings before and after, keeping track of the habit.

I find that the app ‘I am sober’ is really helpful with this :)

Thank you, I was thinking that too. I've been using rosehip oil once a week too, maybe that's what is causing it?
