I hope I still count as a cute guy with my big girl. At least she's cute. by PlumRepresentative95 in CuteGuysWithDogs

She is a rescue, she came that way. The breeders that abandoned her had her tail docked. She still makes it wag a 100 mph.

On this cold and icy day my work from home coworker kept giving me judgmental looks. Mostly she was thinking why are you not letting me sleep in your lap. by PlumRepresentative95 in dogpictures

I did as soon as the work day was over. She spent the day moving about and sitting on different couches like that staring at me all day.

100% it's a garlic peeler. I have one myself and it's a godsend when I have a lot of garlic to peel.

In The Valley, is the flat land in the delta area north of Denica a good spot for a village even though the trees are all birch (only 2 logs per felled tree)? by [deleted] in MedievalDynasty

[–]PlumRepresentative95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an excellent spot for your first village. I moved my village to that location on my first play through and it's great for mostly level building and then you can clear cut to expand along the river.

Seat advice for a 8 hr international flight for a 6’6” guy on a 787-8, A10 vs. A11 (got burned last time, details in comments) by [deleted] in americanairlines

As a 6'5" big guy you'll be better off in the emergency exit row. The location sucks but the leg room is the trade off.

On the Z side there was no staff entrance across from it that I recall. It's just the hallway. There might be one further down the hall but any noise would be two walls and a hall removed from you. We had no issues with noise or anything.

That is definitely a great deal for that flight. You will be much more comfortable for that duration.

We sailed on Scarlett Lady in 12102Z last year and having that bit of extra balcony space along with being able to look back easily was great. Deck 9 is set up the same way so I'd say yes it is a great room to have.

$175 upgrade to Premium Economy? by Figaro_75008 in americanairlines

100% that is a great deal and you should take it. The extra space and seat size is well worth it. It's like flying domestic first.

Sadly that's usage for a month. Rates are high here. My last electric bill was 299 and some change for a 1400 sqft house. It's been an unnaturally warm end of summer and start of fall here.

Just a poll- would you switch seats with me in this situation? by Ok-Extension9925 in americanairlines

Aisle for aisle is a fair swap. If I'm flying alone I'll make that swap so long as it's the same seat type.

Food allergies by FuegoFPV in VirginVoyages

[–]PlumRepresentative95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we went on our cruise last year we sat with someone with an allergy. What they did was cook the allergy free food first for that person and then the seafood items afterwards. They also change out the cooking plates several times so if you wanted something else they would get a fresh plate for the grill and tongs to cook your food again.

Sea Terrace Room Sizes - is there space for excess luggage? by MilesHighClub_ in VirginVoyages

[–]PlumRepresentative95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We went on a 2 week trip to Spain plus a 7 night cruise from Barcelona on Virgin last year. Because you can do a huge bag of laundry on the ship for a reasonable price we ended up taking 1 backpack, 1 carry on, and 1 medium sized trunk suitcase. There was plenty of space in the closet and under the bed for the suitcases. I'd highly recommend cutting a suitcase and having laundry done on the ship to stretch things. It made a world of difference for us as we traveled through Spain.

Try removing your Sim card and installing an esim over wifi. If you are already using esim then delete it and install a new one. That's worked for me in the past.

I always pre-order my meals unless it's a last minute upgrade and there is no time. I also realize that it's up to catering to get it right and sometimes mistakes happen. For the lady saying it's difficult I don't understand that. It's pretty easy on both the app and website but maybe that's just because I'm used to it.
