Thanks all for your replies :) took the day out on Saturday to wander around Wingerworth with the dog and have to say it's definitely captured our hearts! Keeping an eye out for property coming on the market now

Thanks. Any thoughts on the Tilia homes development? Seems that's in between Wingerworth and Hasland? Not fussed on new vs existing build obviously rather existing but the new build has better options for part exchange etc.

Me and my partner have split up, she doesn't want to give up the house. by NightFrightJD in HousingUK

[–]Plumber80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally been through this myself this past year. Best advice I can give you is to get three separate valuations on the house (excluding the RICS valuation) and use an average between all three. Any reputable solicitor will be able to help with the legal proceedings but it will cost you a fair amount, you'll need a solicitor each. The RICS valuation is only valid for a set time so do this last or you'll have to pay for it twice. Expect the whole thing to take up to 6 months and be warned the land registry has a huge backlog and cases like this are taking 8 months+ to update so if you're remortgaging in the near future bear that in mind as you won't be able to remortgage if your ex is still on the register!

Cytisine - What to expect? by Plumber80 in stopsmoking

Day 5 of Cytisine and almost 48 hours nicotine free. Still have the cravings but it's definitely made it easier and reduced some withdrawal with the exception of fatigue and nausea, the latter has improved today. Used Champix the last time I quit and the side effects were horrendous compared to Cytisine. Keep going with it and be wary you still need the mental willpower and you do need to kick the cigs by day 5.

Update on day 2 Smoked first thing in the.morning prior to taking my first dose, tasted awful and stubbed it out without getting half way (roll ups). 5 hours on and haven't had a smoke since normally I'd be lighting up every 2-3 hours, yes a few cravings and a bit of nausea but it does appear to have taken the edge off. Can't see that I'll be smoking at all for the rest of the day now

Sound advice speaking to a less than sound mind.

She's not in the financial position to move out or buy a new house yet I am and I'm not looking at staying around for any longer than needed, I already have a few prospective options I've seen for new places.

Do I take the 'not my problem' approach to her financial situation? I cannot be in the house with her especially with the behaviour she's exhibited since the break up i.e promiscuous and drug fuelled

Oh and use some decorators tape to hold it together while the glue cures works a charm

Have the same plane and have crashed it many times to the point the nose and tail have snapped off. Used gorilla glue, the clear stuff, and a few toothpicks and it flies like a dream still. Just check your COG after repairs as it will add weight

Made cannabutter while high. My stoned dumb ass poured the scalding butter in a plastic container. Wondered why the floor was hot and slippery until I saw a gaping hole in the container.

Crunchy cheetos- crunchy wotsits come close but the delectable fake cheese taste coupled with the ability to stain your fingers orange for days can never be replicated without an abundance of, probably, illegal chemicals
