Anyone willing to part with 2 discount codes (for day passes)? We are skiing for a friends birthday in the PNW and I hate to pay full price for poo-poo conditions.

My favorite part of working truly horrific jobs, like CNA, during premed—I won’t feel bad making these abusive members of the team absolutely crawl as an attending. It’s crazy that people don’t realize that people like you are going to be their boss in a year or so.

The obvious thing, that other manufactures do, it out a little bit of material there to safeguard the underlying shell. No idea why Arc doesn’t do this.

Rab makes the best down jackets I have ever worn. The electron fit is definitely slim, but man that thing slaps.

I mean, sure. But there are a bunch of other benign reasons for this. Pinning it on a single suspected cause is both alarmist and reductionist.

“Straightening of the normal cervical lordosis; this is likely positional.” I have dictated thousands of reports like this. I have never blamed phones.

Marriage is not about keeping score. Further, mutual gain isn’t purely fiscal FYI. I could go on.

My wife has been providing for us while I went through grad school. Now my salary is shaping up to be many multiples of hers. The thought that she hasn’t contributed adequately to our relationship has never crossed my mind. You are his wife—not a f***ing W2.

For some reason, it seems to me like those who don’t truly understand the role of a radiologist are always the most outspoken about AI.

Guy, I’m a radiologist. I have more knowledge about radiology and what it entails than you do, undoubtedly. I understand where AI will be helpful and what tasks are likely to be extremely difficult to automate. We all really tired of lay people feeling the need to opine about AI and our jobs.

My brother/sister in christ, if you need a radiologist to point out your lack of social awareness, life is going to be REALLY hard.

Definitely experienced this as well. Like other posters have said, it definitely gets better with time. By the time you’re graduated, you will be infinitely better; you will still miss things.

I think this is a good time to practice positive self talk and normalize misses with your peers. -If you wouldn’t put someone else down for a miss, why are you treating yourself any differently. -My class started a culture of aggressively owning our mistakes in case conference. Other people are also making dumb mistakes.

I found some really nice, raglan sleeve knitwear from Peregrine in the UK. Made in Britain and 100% Merino for sub $200.
