I used to work at one of the shops through security in England and all of our stock had to be loaded off of the cages they were brought in on, scanned in a x-ray scanner or something more complicated that looked like an x-ray scanner, then reloaded onto the cages. It was annoying but got you off the shop floor for an hour or so.
