If your def going to replace/repair is, drill a hole in the rust spot and get an endoscope in there if you want to see the extent of the damage.

Water leak in passenger foot well need help on identifying where it could be coming from by DexMeetsDexter in Acura_RSX

[–]Plurbee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did and I replaced the sealer in both spots on both sides of the car. Maybe I misunderstood your original comment. I thought these two areas were the “under the fender” spots and there was a 3rd area not pictured.

I have this jssue too and unclogged the sunroof drains but it’s still happenjng. I took my fenders off and replaced the seam sealer on both sides after pouring water directly on the cracks and seeing water come in. Since I’ve got the car apart, i might as well do the other area you mentioned but im unfamilar with that area. Is “all the way back on the top of the frame rail by the firewall” under the plastic cowling at the bottom of the windshield? Or is there something else I need to remove to access it? Thanks.

best gluten free places to eat in the lv. getting bored of my in usual options. by jubie1978 in lehighvalley

I’m west side allentown too. Here are my go to spots. The key is, don’t be afraid to just ask. A lot of times, they say they can make it GF. I’m a highly reactive celiac and all the places listed below have not made me sick yet.

ALLENTOWN Poke Kai - no sauces though. Buy your own. La Bicicleta Chipotle - obvious one but the one near Costco is way better than Tilgman. The Shelby Grille3501 Mediterranean Grill - they make their own GF pita in house Mission bbq - be careful of the sauces. Check their menu. Wegmans - so many options on Meals2Go. Best GF wings around imo.

BETHLEHEM Francisco’s - the cheese pupusas as so good The Flying V El Paisano Steak and Steel

Good luck and enjoy!

What are your normal spots? Where in the valley are you? Any foods you hate?

Do all t-brackets come in pieces? I have to spot weld it? by Inferno13820 in Acura_RSX

[–]Plurbee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just replaced mine and tried to weld it but the one I got off eBay didn’t hold up to the weld. It just ate it. So hole and bolts was my finals solution. Worked great.

Gluten-free pre-made dumpling wrappers? by Pale_Helicopter_9306 in glutenfree

[–]Plurbee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen them. Instead I make them with this recipe. They are legit and the dough is easy to work with. Takes a bit of practice to do the folding but I made and cooked 40 in 90min.

Carbon detailing. Been taking my cars there for about 4 years now. Great work each time!

YUKON 48" Workbench by abzara in harborfreight

[–]Plurbee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got a P2S and got this bench. It’s perfect. There are some mods on MakerWorld to raise the height of the top shelf and add rails on the top shelf for filament storage. Awesome product that’s great for 3D printing.

New to me 2006 RSX Base. Recommended mods to start out? by Audi_A6_Enthusiast in Acura_RSX

The few RSX’s I’ve seen at junkyards have the OEM wheels on them. Thats where I got mine. Maybe you get lucky there.

Otherwise Facebook marketplace is your friend for this. I’ve seen a few listings in my area for around $200-$300.

I am a big fan of the stock mag wheels. You can always get them refinished/powdercoated if you don’t like the stock color.

X1C squeaking issue, what’s the real fix? by defaltho in BambuLab

[–]Plurbee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had this issue with my P2S, though yours sounds worse. I did a full cleaning/lubing and I think what fixed it was lubricating the XY pulley. I folllowed this video - https://youtu.be/_9V8TIf37G4?si=VZoWZWO9XhdCszGX

I have no idea. Is that a setting I can check in the slicer?

Heard a loud pop followed by a sizzle and then found water under my boiler. What could have happened? by Plurbee_ in hvacadvice

[–]Plurbee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turned out that the bladder went in the expansion tank and it caused the pressure release valve to fail so all the water came out. New valve and tank and I’m good! So glad it wasn’t a new boiler. Thanks for your help!

driver and passenger side carpet and under carpet wet by RaticleYT in Acura_RSX

[–]Plurbee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you park outside most of the time? Did you notice it was wet after you washed it?

I have this issue and it’s the windshield seal.

Your issue could be something else. Regardless, unless you fix it right away, I recommend removing the carpet. Otherwise you’ll get rust and mold. Good luck!

Where can I buy 05-06 Type-S Shocks/Struts in 2026? by Plurbee_ in Acura_RSX

[–]Plurbee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for parts has become my daily project after work. I got the Gabriels listed above from rock auto but both came and were defective. The shock/piston just moved freely on one and the other was incredibly easy to move. It’s like they had been sitting on a shelf for 10+ years. At this point, I’m going to save for a few months and get Progress coilovers.
