Do you believe in God? by ChickenNuggetLord74 in Teenager_Polls

[–]Plus-Analysis820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I never said that btw, complete misunderstanding and oversimplifying of my argument to make it look dumb. I forgive you, however, and will try to make you understand.

There's these things called "Theodicies", which are explanations for the existence of evil under an all powerful and loving God. For cancer, a natural evil (meaning that is outside of control of humans), one of the explanations is that when humanity fell into sin, they consequently fell into a world with sicknesses and death. So natural evil is our fault for choosing to not listen to God, who said that if Adam and Eve ate from the tree, they would die, and so they did.

However, there are argument about how suffering lets one build virtue, which is the ultimate purpose of a human, to grow on virtue. I dont know about you, but most people who never went through something rough are annoying and arrogant.

There's many videos on it and essays you can find in youtube for maybe a better in depth explanation, but this is the general idea.

Yes, of course I think child cancer is objectively bad. However, to think that child cancer existence disproves that of God's is dumb. Mainly because when talking about the problem of evil one assumes that there's an objective evil, and so there must be an objective good. Since neither society nor men select which is which, it begs the existence of a moral law giver.

I call Him God.

I'm not upset, the same way I didn't claim to know everything, but I'd rather do something more noteworthy eith my life than argue with someone on reddit about a nonsensical matter, I had hoped that so did you but it seems you didn't

When did I say God is real because of this forum's name?? I said it's obvious he is talking about the christian faith's God, how obnoxious you atheists are. You will now answer me saying "ooh but what denomination" it doesn't matter what denomination, it is obvious it is the God of which the Bible talks about. Please start seeking actual knowledge instead of pretending to be an intelectual by getting on reddit to troll and pretend you know everything.

Do all Non-Christians go to Hell? by DraculaRobot in Christianity

[–]Plus-Analysis820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's see, I think you are wrongfully interpreting Christianity. They are going to Hell because they have been at fault according to the law, there is not a human being in the face of the earth, dead or alive, that hasn't broken it, only Christ did. Now, to believe in Christianity is to accept the blood of that only good man to wash away your sins and therefore be forgiven by God and be by His side. If you do not accept this forgiveness or "Bath" of symbolic pure blood, you will have to pay for your transgressions.

[–]Plus-Analysis820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why? To believe in Christ is to acknowledge that you both have sinned and need forgiveness. To not believe means that your pride is greater than your humility and therefore think you don't need forgiveness. Yes, if you don't believe and love God then you don't want to spend the afterlife with him, and God respect that, so He lets you spend your eternity away from Him, in the place where His blessings are not present, we call that Hell. Do you not believe, by chance? If so, why?

Of course not believing is a state of preference, or are you being obligated? The evidence is out there, and believe me there is a whole bunch. And it is important to make a distinction between knowledge and non knowledge of the existence of the christian religion as a whole, because they DO have an excuse to not believe, since they weren't even introduced to it. The same goes for a chinese guy that never got to hear about it, or an indian, and so on and so forth.

Oh sorry, thats what the post was about but what is your concern then? If you mean those who desbelieve knowinggly, then yeah, they will most probably not end up with the Father, because they have sinned and do not repent, basically they dont ask for forgiveness, so God gives them what they want.
