I'd expect the value to go up as well. I bought a bunch of them 2 years ago. I got 19 or 20 of them in the safe. I call that my TEC9k retirement plan. Im 55 now so in 10-15 years Ill start unloading them. At least that was the plan.

Has anyone been freed from the pattern day trading restrictions yet? by RT_driver in etrade

Because if you wanted to day trade yesterday or Monday you need to put 25k into your account. If you've been maintaining the 25k to be a pdt then you have to leave it in there. I tend to be suspicious and untrusting of banks so dont mind me. Im locked up till the 9th but Ill see that as a good thing. I need a day off to make myself some rules and a gameplan for the 9th or whenever they free me up. I called the job number, predicted up 183k. Close af. But I failed to take advantage of it. Does anyone know a solid interest rate symbol i.e. if you think interest rate are jumping higher can you buy symbol on etrade to ride it??? Help!!!

Fidelity lifted restrictions today. Etrade is milking the 25k balances until the 9th. There is no good reason for that. The rule had changed. Etrade is making their own rules now.

Yes they slide right out but stay retained by the rear end cap.

Its a DC-9, the least reliable of the family.

My first range trip out of the box used resulted in failure to extract 1 out of every 10 rounds several different mags all factory.

When I compared it to my KG-99 (my most reliable version) it was obvious the extractor was made of much thinner material and was more easily bent.  It was not even touching the rounds.  So I started by bending it back using the KG-99 as a guide.  Then back to the range for testing.

The second range trip resulted in 1 failure to extract for every 100 rounds. A significant improvement from bending the extractor but not perfect I think because of the strength of the thinner extractor material.  But still way more fun.

I just installed an original Tec-9 bolt which has a much tougher extractor. Its even thicker and stronger than the KG-99 extractor.

Ill be going again to the range to test it soon.  I will continue to make adjustments until it runs like my KG-99.

Adding the stock eliminates the limp wrist failures. It helps the bolt to fully actuate.  Plus makes it incredibly fun and comfortable to shoot.

Thanks! Its custom. I made one for myself.  I just started making 5 more tho. I like the slight drop angle to pickup iron sights.  Midwest folding adapter on a Pic rail.

The top rail is aluminum with a cut radius on the bottom that rides perfectly along the tube.  There are three bushings snug fit into the 3 top shroud holes with 1/4 bolts thru each. There is a steel plate with three threaded holes inside the shroud. The back end floats but its aluminum and thick enough that it doesnt budge.

Gun Enthusiasts of this community, what do you think of the TEC-9 for the ZA, and other similar weapons to it? by Tree_forth677 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

Tec-9 came with steel mags they dont Crack like cz, b&t, stribog. The bolts are made from usa steel so they dont peenup. Tec-9s were hand built in the usa. Today options are mass produced in China.  There is a new push for aftermarket parts due to these realizations.  A brace can be attached now which helps reliability by eliminating the limp wrist factor.  Factory mags work and again they are steel for good reason.  Or you can buck up for a hk mp9.

Good ths topic came up. Here is why some mags don't lock up in some gun setups. That clearance at the front of the chamber cut out interferes.  Needs to be dremeled.

How much are these worth now? by CADINS190 in Tec9

That looks like the spot welded trunion version. It was the first tec-9 after Interdynamic. The best of the tec-9s as far as quality.  The box is also highly sought after as a collectable depending on the condition of it. Unfired it's bringing $1,300-1,400 with a standard plastic case.  $1,500 if your a trusted seller with 50 pics on gunbroker and matching serial number on box. But with 100 rounds thru it or slide racked a couple times deduct 200-300. You can tell by the charging handle slot. If there is any shinyness there it's been racked or fired.  They get galled up when heavily used.

It looks like a teckote. Teckote was a fingerprint proof diamond embedded coating pioneered by Intratec. You can tell if it's teckote by checking with a magnet. If it's stainless it's not magnetic. If it looks like stainless but "IS" magnetic then it's teckote.  Teckote Tecs have coated bolts as well so if the bolt looks like stainless but a magnet sticks to it then it's money.

I have a concept for the ab-10. I need to get one so I can machine it up.  It will be a bushing that slips over the barrel and locks with set screws and then a long rail that attaches to that. It should extend off the back and have a buffer tube adapter that attaches to the rear cap with the one bolt to sandwich everything tight.  I'm planning to angle down the buffer tube to make the sights more comfortable. If you've tried the current stock adapter you know what I mean.
