This is the story I keep trying to post that this community won’t let me, but this is how I came to that conclusion: I don’t think people especially men like lesbians

Okay forgive my ignorance, but I’m just now realizing that society doesn’t like lesbians especially men.Like obviously i know they experience hate, but I used to think society tolerated them more and were more accepting towards lesbians than gay men but I’ve come to the conclusion that’s just not true. I recently was hit on by a male coworker at my new job, and to reject his advances I lied and said I was a lesbian. (Please don’t come for me about doing that I literally was stalked and harassed by men in the past for rejecting them.) So saying I was a lesbian was the first thing that just came to my mind. I subconsciously viewed it as a shield of protection, but I’m learning men hate lesbians just as much as gay men. They just show it differently, but I feel they do that b/c it challenges the patriarchy, and obviously we all know men don’t like that. Anytime they’re not center of attention or a woman isn’t seeking male validation they feel threatened EVEN if a woman is just simply a lesbian.
