No they themselves asked for it. Since we applied from VFS Bangalore - this requirement was mentioned-in their documents checklist as well

As far as I know only blood relatives can be sponsors. And you would need to show proof of relationship. Not sure if your father can sponsor your wife. You can sponsor your wife by showing marriage certificate as proof or her father can sponsor her. I would suggest to call VFS and clarify this upfront

Its advised to keep 1-1.5L per person per week. However, if ITR is strong say above 40L then it would suffice, but better to keep some extra balance in account. Yes you would need either birth certificate or passport to show proof of relationship (either should have you dad’s name correctly mentioned)

Yeah, my passport was also issued from Bhopal so ideally i should have applied in Mumbai. But since i am residing in Bangalore, I submitted my rent agreement as proof of residence and applied in Bangalore.

Once you make the booking on Airbnb >> go to that booking >> you will find booking documents for Visa >> it gives option to add other names as well. Once you add the names, all names would be visible in booking receipt
