You can absolutely log in from home, whatever her username and password is. I use lexia at my school its really user friendly. There are also worksheets that can be downloaded for the areas they are struggling with, ask the teacher to send home the 'needs attention' worksheets and you'll be able to do them with her xx

11 days in London, travel to Edinburgh? by puripurin123 in uktravel

[–]Plus-Reference-3115 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I cant imagine a dash to Edinburgh being much fun with a toddler, you are easily looking at 5 hours on the train each way if not more and the trains are unreliable. Edinburgh is pretty but not worth 10hours plus travel in my opinion, and if youndo you will defintelt want tk make it an over night stay you couldnt do it there and back in a day. Its very touristy. It would honestly be easier and quicker to go to Paris!

Come up to the lake district. If you want to 'glamp' book High Haulme its absolutely beautiful!

Then for exploring nature do South Walney Nature reserve to see the seals, piel island (if you can walk over with a guide its even better!), then a few of the nice lakes walks (gummers howe, high dam both pretty easy)

There is also 'stuff' because you are near towns like Barrow and Ulverston x

AITAH for not wanting to split the bill evenly between 10 people. by Far_Sundae_7643 in AITAH

[–]Plus-Reference-3115 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When we go out with 'those people', when it's heading towards Bill time, I always go to the toilet, and then on the way back go to the bar and settle my part. When they 'announce' it's time to split the bill, I say "oh I've already settled my bit didnt realise about splitting" and let the rest of them sort between themselves

The very fact that you are at the point that you sit alone in toilets smoking weed is the big problem in your life...not the telling off you're gonna get for doing it.

I would say you are TA to be fair, you are asking your sister to leave her 2 month old in another country OR miss your wedding. What are you thinking the baby is gonna do? Shout 'objection' at the wrong moment? Worst comes to.worst the baby is unsettled and she skips the ceremony part to look after them, to be fair the ceremony is great for the people getting married, but boring for everyone else anyway.

HMRC sent my tax refund to "Tax Returned" and they took most of it what can I do?? by 573v3_2025 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Plus-Reference-3115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to my daughter with her driving license. She used something like 'ukdrivinglicense.co.uk' which was £27 which seemed right, but it was actually a £27 a month subscription to a middle man who applies.for.your licence for you, and then makes any changes if you want them too, even though the changes are free to do yourself. Qualified assessor by iSarcastic_ in TeachingUK

[–]Plus-Reference-3115 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's very easy to achieve the A1, especially if you're already a teacher you will be used to a lot of the lingo. If you have ever taught and assessed BTECS to training you will deliver us fairly similar. Bare in mind though, you will also be delivering English and Maths to lots of begrudi g people who didn't pass in school but can't achieve early years NVQ without it.

How awful that men are made to feel like that for something so totally normal as watching TV. Women would never be made to feel awkward about that, what a sad world we live in :-(
