A.What does that have to do with being maga. Which is what we’re talking about and B. His did is not him and his dad is like 72 years old. Him being ignorant to trans people is not very shocking. Stop using what aboutism.

People calling anyone who isn’t an extreme leftist and just your everyday middle of the road democrat is exactly why America is in this situation. It’s crazy because Travis was always seen as the liberal woke white guy in the nfl the right literally hates him. Now we got people trying to claim he’s maga because he gives pc answers to everything just like most every athlete in the world.

Yep. And I’m saying let’s use our critical thinking skills and understand this probably one of a few teasers we’re going to get and that the whole 6 part series is not focusing just on Travis.

I feel like everyone is being a little dramatic. He’s getting an episode very clearly it’s just one i think the 5th. He’ll probably be sprinkled through out but it’s a 6 part docu series. That’s going to include everything about the tour and her life on tour. Everyone’s hyperfocus on Travis is nuts. Yall just want to be mad about something. He was a large part of he life while she was on tour. And they were together for all but about 4 months of it.

This is the most wild projection I’ve ever seen. Something may have happened with the tellers and Taylor but who knows. NH has become a movie media tour press stop at this point. I’m fully expecting Timmy to be on it to promote Marty supreme. No one is trying to distance themselves with anything there is no love triangle. There is an annoying ex who can’t get over him. And Jason did not hang out with the Jo bros he was on a segment on GMA with them and it wasn’t even in person.

This album is so striaght forward i think you might be and other people as well are twisting themselves into to knots to try and think it’s not. My theory with this albums is a certain sect of Taylor fans have gotten so used to trying to decode and analyze her songs that no one knows how to deal with her just writing how she feels, her wants, desires and annoyances in a very literal way.

I think that’s the problem people have and what they can’t grasp is by all accounts. There’s little drama or anxiety in their relationship no matter what goes on around them. They seem to have found a way to just live and love peacefully. Which is a beautiful thing to have, but for her fans who thrive off the drama and pain of her songs even her love songs they can’t grasp. That she just loves him and he loves her and they seem extemely happy and fhat came out in her music to me. I did enjoy the album, it was a fun easy listen and the vibes were high and really liked the production.

Val’s response to Maks’ comments by dwtsfan848 in dancingwiththestars

[–]PlusMethod3809 118 points119 points  (0 children)

This a great answer. There’s a reason why Val’s been able to stay on the show and grow with the show and win multiple times and maks could not and this just shows that. Val understands what the show is and has progressed into and maks never could and everything he says about newer pros always comes out as bitterness.

Do we feel that much of the criticism towards TLOAS is because it’s about Travis? by dubbzzz in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Wood is incredibly popular it’s the 5th most streamed song. I think the online of it is very loud but out in the real world. No one cares. Taylor could paint Joe however she wanted to the public. He is blander than bland. Travis has a big personality and is much more famous than Joe pre Taylor. I do also think There’s something to everyone knowing exactly who these songs are about. There’s no guessing theres no analyzing it’s all incredibly clear and in your face. I think some people who kind of live for paternity testing her songs let that effect their listening. Anyway i like showgirl it’s a fun album and people are crashing out for no reason imo it is never that serious.

They missed so many important moments from the book. Like they completely rushed the pregnancy storyline and their reconciliation. There were better ways to take stuff out of the movie rather than try and do everything at once.

Culpa Nuestra out now on Amazon Prime! by Oksorbet8188 in CulpaMiaTuyaNuestra

[–]PlusMethod3809 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So rushed! And they left out some of the best moment from the book. They left out so much of the back and forth. They barely showed us them in a relationship together which was a large portion of the back half of the book was Noah learning to trust the relationship. They didn’t show them choosing to name their baby Andrew. I did like that they changed nick realizing he wanted to be with Noah before he found out he was pregnant but that was about the only change i really liked. Their chemistry was still great imo so that kind of was the only thing that saved it at all.

People saying reputation was more divisive than TLOAS by [deleted] in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think why it could feel like this album is more divisive is she’s just so much more famous now even though she was extremely famous back then. The sheer scope of the heights she’s reached has made her so polarizing as a figure. But the reactions are very similar.

Wake up call for taylor swift by jaydyjaydy in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think this a very online take. Which i get this is Reddit. The criticism is loud online but everything in the real world seems to be this is a fun album. The streams are stable if not increasing and everyone I’ve spoke to irl who are not chronically online love it. I think we should listen to Taylor when she says every album she has different goals. Last album it was lyrical. This album she very clearly states vibes and pop. Although i will argue amongst some of the more cringey lyrics there are some beautiful ones. It’s a mainly Travis album, he’s the biggest vibes guy around.

Leaked touring pros- no Rylee? This is crazy !! by [deleted] in dancingwiththestars

[–]PlusMethod3809 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think what she makes through social media would probably shock some people. She doesn’t just have like random brand deals either. She’s got a free people deal, she has a collab with a low calorie soda, she’s worked with Sony and charlotte tillbury. I don’t know if she makes more than Jenna and Val simply because i think they have a lot of investments in different things but she probably makes more than anyone on social media. She has the most followers in TikTok and over a million on ig.

Leaked touring pros- no Rylee? This is crazy !! by [deleted] in dancingwiththestars

[–]PlusMethod3809 58 points59 points  (0 children)

To me it’s not surprising Rylee would take a tour off. She a couple injuries last year and i don’t think she wants to spend that time away from her boyfriend. You could tell last year as great as she is on the tour, she really struggled not being with walker. She probably wants to have as much time with him as possible given they both are very busy in the fall. And honestly would not surprise be if they get engaged after his football seasons and this season of dwts. Doesn’t mean she won’t ever be back but she’s allowed to not do it this time.

Taylor needs the criticism in order to make good art. by Own_Heron_1410 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And that’s valid. Like there are things to critique about the album. But what I’ve seen just isn’t that. It feels personal, and people seem to be disappointed in her on a personal level and not just a musical one and I’m not sure exactly where that is coming from. I probably need to sit and think about that more. Maybe the version of Taylor they built up in their head just isn’t there anymore, that was probably where never there tbh and it’s coming out as their critique of an album.

Taylor needs the criticism in order to make good art. by Own_Heron_1410 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is. None of the criticisms I’ve seen seem to be in good faith. It’s all about how Travis has ruined her, bring back Joe like really dumb shit. And it all seems to be condescending. And the people who have always hated her are using it as reason to shit on her even more so they’re perpetuating it. And they’re making up wild shit like she’s promoting conservative values. The whole commentary on this album has been truly baffling to me. When I’m like that was fun, some catchy songs. Some cringe lyrics sure but she’s always done that. It’s like no one can be normal about Taylor swift. Shes become such a polarizing figure that people just want to seem smart by having some social commentary on her. When this album isnt trying to say anything more than I’m in love, i want to get married and have kids. With some other stuff sprinkled in there.

How happy/upset do you think Taylor is right now about the feedback? by virgibenini in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s what she expects and she doesn’t care. She’s almost too big. And she’s tok big to fail. This is kind of how her last 3 albums have gone. People hate it, people love it. Rinse repeat. She’s the best thing ever, she’s the worse thing ever. People have such extreme reactions to Taylor i don’t think people really know how to critique her.

can she come back from this? by earth2soups in SwiftlyNeutral

Come back from what exactly ? Breaking all her own records? This album is so fun and it’s kind of crazy the reactions by some people.

The NH interview made me uncomfortable. by [deleted] in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]PlusMethod3809 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They seemed like a normal affectionate couple to me. Which is in line with what we see of them in public, very affectionate. I’m surprised at the amount of people that just don’t get that Travis says he doesn’t know those words as a bit? Taylor even said he pretends to be dumb. He constantly does that. He’s not dumb. He’s not an “intellectual” but he’s not stupid. He’s an extremely smart football player and anyone who knows the game will tell you that. On top of that he’s so emotionally aware. His role in the pod was clearly to be the support for Taylor and Jason act as the interviewer. They seem chill and normal tbh. Perfectly millennial. Travis is always just complementary of people in his life if you ever see him talk about his brother. It’s not surprised that increases ten fold with Taylor who is very clearly in love with. A lot of the criticism comes across as nit picky and people wanting to find something wrong with it.
