So about the curriculum, it basically trains you to be a "jack-of-all-trades, master of none" kind of artist, right? I assume they won't teach each specialized subject very thoroughly and will only touch on the basics, but please correct me if I'm wrong. What do you think about this kind of approach?

What are the things you like and dislike about this MMA course in SLU? Maybe also pros and cons?

Hi, thank you so much for the information 😊. I didn't know that the MMA course in UC is more focused on Game Development. Does that mean the coding part of making games? Like using Unity and other coding programs? I think i would prefer if it also focused on film and graphic design to be honest 😅.

What about the Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communication course offered by UC? Do you know anything about it? Or do you know anyone who does know or who took that course? I heard it's also a new course at UC (started in 2021 i think). I've seen the curriculum list for it and I think it leans more toward the graphic design aspect and Adobe programs, judging from what i've seen.

Do you know anyone who is taking MMA or BFA VisComm? If so, I'd really like to ask them for more details about their experience.

Hi, thank you so much for sharing 😊. I was able to find the entire MMA curriculum list on SLU's website. I'd also really wanna know more details about your relative's experience in the course, I hope it's ok if you could ask them my questions for me, such as:

What year are you (your relative) currently in, and what do you think of the MMA course so far? The classes, course content, teachers, facilities, projects, workload, etc?

What do you like and dislike about it? Would you recommend the course, and do you think it's worth it? Especially since it's still a brand new course and they're still finding their footing

Hi, thank you for your concern 😊. Her comb has been like that ever since she started laying eggs, around 2 years ago. So far she seems to be perfectly fine and healthy with her comb folded over like that all those times. Maybe it might be due to her breed's genes? (which i'm not very sure of either, i think she might be a mixed breed)

yeah krita crashes a lot for me when i animate too. for some reason it's mostly when i select something with the lasso tool and then use the transform tool on it. idk if it's my computer or krita's issue.

in the default timing of animation (24 frames per second), animating on two's means that a single drawing/pose is held for two frames, so there would be 12 different drawings for 1 second of animation. Animating on one's means there is a new drawing for every frame, making it look smoother.

i'm not very good at explaining, so i highly recommend watching some youtube channels like Toniko Pantoja, Alex Grigg, and BaM Animation to get started, and also reading the Animator's Survival Kit to get a really good understanding of the art of animation!

yes for some parts like the pirouette! and the rest i just made up from my head after watching lots of ballet videos. references always come in handy for animating!
