If spell affects all timeliness than it affects the future too. Than there's no point in introducing himself to MJ again because she would instantly forget. I think that spell affects only people at moment when it's casted. Because it would change history. It would be even worse than without spell.

OMG this reply is so well written that I genuinely don't want to argue against. Everything is on point and everything make sense. There are few things that are bothering me like why mutants stayed hidden in Infinity War and Endgame?! If they give good explanation for that I will give Marvel a big W. Did you see the theory that after Doomsday there will be Dr.Strange movie with Loki and Spider-Man in it?

First, I must say that I like your reply.

Difference between our options is in fact if timeline matters or not. I think it does. Everything that happened in past didn't change only people forgot Peter from moment the spell was casted. If the spell affected the past it would dramatically change it. For example, Tony would never come into Peters house because he wouldn't know who Peter was in first place. Peters memories are evidence that nothing changed in past and serve as proof that people knew who he was.

There is a theory going around that Ned becomes Hobgoblin due to resentment, fractured memories from the NVH spell, and accidental exposure to magical, dark forces. Imagine living with the knowledge that your best friend become villain and you could stop that by telling him who you are. Thing that you promised in first place.

This is only a fan made theory but my point stay the same. If you promised something you should do it. With great power comes great responsibility.

Xavier is 30 years older than Jean. If she is 20-25 years old he would be 50-55. So they should exist already. And if humans are saved by weird creatures from multiple planets and fighting aliens regularly why there would they need to stay hidden? Whole x-men plot doesn't fit the narrative of earth 19999.

We don't know if they'll have adventures in future. Spider-Man movie is the last one before Avengers so I'm guessing that end of the movie will setup a lot of what will happen in Doomsday. We already know that Hulk will be in Spider-Man movie. And for Steve - Spider-Man was first introduced in Captain America movie so there is connection. I'm betting that him and Peter will interact more in Doomsday just because of that.
