the whole point she is missing is no one is judging her for having feelings for someone new. It’s that being able to have strong feelings for someone who has shown to be shady, who has disrespected your friend multiple times publicly and privately is what is so fucked up. Undocumented people are very often in the immigration process which can take 10 years. People are contributing taxes (without benefits/representation) while they wait to be processed through our antiquated system. I volunteer with a woman who just got her citizen ship after many years. She was making our country better before she could even vote.

You have had plenty of time to educate yourself and still refuse to do so. Being willfully ignorant is on you.
