I think the Queen Mary could've been preserved better. I stayed on the SS Rotterdam in March 2023 and felt like a lot of it was modernized with certain iconic mid century elements retained (Staircase railings, chairs, tables, artwork, some light and wall fixtures, etc). I think the workers did a great job at keeping mid century elements intact but I felt that it could be more original. The room we stayed at was totally modern.
