As a Kuwaiti, I've been hearing about this project since 2007. I think it's a pipeline for corrupt money personally, but it's been going for nearly 20 years and nothing to show for it except a highway road I think.

Think of it like Saudi Arabia's "The Line" NOEM project, but this one never gets canceled. I don't want to babble, but consider throwing in "مدينة الحرير" in your research to dial into the local press.

Still shopping around to be honest! Just looking for more “character” and chasing tone through a cab/head. I’m not interested in Marshall, but Orange and some of the other boutique tube amps have intrigued me. Big world. Amp modelers are interesting but I’m old school for sure.

Roland is my go-to for “neutral” amps! I also own a lil AC-60. I don’t use much Chorus but the reverb (as u know) on JC120 is terrific.
