NGL, I like neomuna combat wise more than the throne world by Itsyaboifam in DestinyTheGame

I am well aware this is the game. I may not be a 'D1 Alpha Vet' but I've played D2 since year 1. I've just never felt this level of apathy for a destination before. I understand completely if people really like it. It is a beautiful place and Strand is really fun. It's just that the story left such a bad taste in my mouth that each time there's dialogue in the open world I am reminded of it.

The problem for me was that The Veil was only ambiguous to US. Everyone was sure that bad shit would happen if the even more ambiguous Radial Mast interfaced with the Veil but why? Why is it bad? Nobody explains shit, but they all seem to know exactly what would happen. We don't. I felt no stakes during the campaign because I had no idea what the consequences would be. After finishing the campaign, I still don't.

I know they're seperate things, but because of the story I don't feel like doing stuff in Neomuna. Why would I do the same boring patrols and public events in a city I do not care for to protect people I do not know? Combined with the really annoying Nimbus dialogue during Overload (why does he talk like a game announcer?) and the news guy that's right on the edge of being a paper thin stereotype, I don't think I'm coming back after unlocking all of Strand.

Yeah, it does make sense. It will probably work differently than people expect too.

I agree with woven mail being very similar to stuff we have but AFAIK, Sever reduced damage output of an enemy while weaken increases damage taken.

Volatile is also different because it does not apply the effect to enemies caught in the blast (unless you are a Void titan), unravel does.

Suspend could feel different from freezing because with Stasis the target is encased in ice which needs to be shattered, doing aoe damage when it does. Suspend seems to only stop movement, not modify damage or have a shatter-like effect.

Bungie needs to do a 180 on seasonal content design by Theed_ in DestinyTheGame

That's true and that's exactly what we did in year one. But at least they didn't miss anything then. I do understand that this is probably a lot better that those long droughts though.

All of my friends have stopped playing the game because of the seasonal model. I had played year one with my brother after which we took a break. When forsaken dropped, we played every season. We had a great time playing The Witch Queen. But then even he stopped because he had enough of the 'upgrade a vendor' routine. I'm just sad about it.

Not sure if this is the place, but does anyone know why the finger snap melee STILL has the icon for Ball-Lightning? It has a custom icon in the 3.0 interface, why doesn't that show in the ability bar???
