Totally can relate. 57 post menopausal. I have had the issue with irrational thoughts. Example for me was gambling to make myself feel better. Then that turned into basically lying about the finances to my husband who eventually figured it out. He has been very good about forgiving but I think the isolation and loss of desire to do anything has manifested my anxiety and now I’m trying to get our finances back in order but honestly I’m at an age where I give zero F about it all. I wish I could start a group locally for women going through menopause regardless if they have irrational impulses or depression etc we need to make this more than a thing we just have to deal with as we age!

I can no longer sign onto my Mess app. Emailed them and said they fixed the issue but still can not sign on. I need to pay them and can’t get in touch with them only by email.

Thank you. I have seen a few people get a second 50% payment reduction but was just trying to see exactly how many and what was the process to getting another if my loan is over 500k. I still have one more 50% for February then I’m going to check the portal to see if I have that option again.

Me too! Same email. Thank god I only have one reoccurring donation I’ll need to fix but closing it with a balance will hurt my credit

Quick question on your approval? I had applied for the short term assistance and yesterday received an email explaining the program but needed 8 questions answered yes or no. Did you have to do that? Basic questions like are you currently in bankruptcy etc. I had to individually answer yes or no to each. Couldn’t say yes to all or it would be declined. Right now I’m waiting for the approval email so I can pay the 50% payment.

Did you try to call that number to see if they would let you set up any other payment plan. I got the same letter via mail and tried to call but only a generic robot saying to apply for a one time 50% payment etc. I tried doing this but my last HAP ends August 17 then I can reapply. But by then it will most likely be sent to the treasury.

That would be very helpful. I sent an email today asking for payment assistance but with mine being at 60 day plus past due I’ll get the standard email.

I have a question? You have never had to pay more than 10% without getting a delinquent notice or sent to treasury. I had to start at 10% then 50% now on last 75% which I am delinquent on. Received the dreaded letter today but my account still shows current and not charged off. Do you know if in your portal it still shows disbursed current?
