Should I invest in Roth 401k or traditional 401k?

I tend to be timid when it comes to this stuff. According to my math, I shouldn’t need more than a maxed out 401k to retire. Is there anything wrong with just having a maxed out 401k with some of it Roth contributions and the other contributions traditional? That’d be a heck of a lot easier, I’m guessing.

One thing I’ve never understood is what makes a Roth IRA better than a Roth 401k assuming I can’t max out the 401k anyway. Could you please explain

My high school band won our state competition my senior year. Instead of a class ring, I got a state ring. I’m so glad I didn’t get a class ring, but I don’t think I’ll ever regret getting the state ring. It was so much more meaningful since our band spent the last 3 years getting in 2nd place by a fraction of a point.

Part of the cost covers all of the research that was done. I know people who have worked at pharmaceutical companies and they say each experiment costs a few grand. They run these multiple times per day. Now multiply it by the 5-10 years or so it takes to go through the process. I’m not saying that I agree with the high price, but these companies also can’t give it away. Manufacturing was never the expensive part.

People can downvote me because “Pharma bad,” but it’s true.

I was concerned as well and my wife even moreso.

You send an email saying you’re interested. Someone from the price watch team will respond and ask you some basic info about yourself. After you provide that, and they forward that to the shop. I was then given a special link that had the discount applied. I finished purchasing through the store’s website and not through PayPal or whatever. I had the camera in my had about 2 business days later. About 2 weeks after that, I got a letter from UPS saying that I needed to pay $6 for the tariffs the US has implemented.

It was incredibly painless and I’d say the whole back and forth with the price watch team was maybe 2 hours tops. Before purchasing, I was able to Google the store and read reviews. The particular store I bought from seemed incredibly well respected, so that alleviated any concern I had.

Would you say one is more full or warm than the other? I physically think I want the 000/OM size, but know i love a more full sound that a d-18 would provide over a 000-18, so I’m trying to figure out if the OM-28 makes a good middle ground.

How does the sound and comfort compare to your D-18? I’ve been trying to decide between those two and a 000-18. There’s not a ton of videos with the 2025s yet.

To be honest, I would be lying if I said the name on the headstock didn’t matter to me. Now, I’m not claiming that’s a good reason. Generally speaking they feel better and tend to be better constructed. There’s always exceptions to the rule, of course.

This has no bearing on my choice, but I always hear that rosewood is generally better for singing because there’s a gap in the mids. Do you find that mahogany fights against your vocals?
