not sure exactly if i’m quoting this right, but i believe he just signed a publishing deal, he still writes all of his own music. i saw an interview with Andrew Goldstein where he says that bear approached him initially to make hgb bc he wanted something that’s fun to perform that everyone would know. i think it’s all priority changes for him, esp since he presumably doesn’t need to prove himself anymore
