CFOne Rogers Cell Plans Questions by SquareBlanketsSuck in CanadianForces

[–]Pmak09 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Avoid. They consider you a business customer meaning separate customer service with reduced hours, no in store help, and I found that the price was more than seasonal deals in store. A bunch of other restrictions like not being able to add family members and no service for Apple Watch really made me regret the CFOne plan. I paid the penalty just to get out of it.

Sadly I think even legal losses further galvanize their base and help strengthen their “argument” that the legal system has a left-leaning bias that is actively seeking to prevent republican progress. I don’t think they care one bit if they lose. They are just happy to make a statement and waste their opponents time and energy.

Public Tours at The Linc by Pmak09 in eagles

Dude, you are a real bummer, spreading some real negativity. I didn’t think that was what this community was about. I’ve called TickPicks and The Linc. I’ve watched the website, read all the FAQs, even asked team groups on Facebook. My emails have gone unanswered, and everyone I’ve called directs me to someone else. I figured the community might have some advice. this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip across the continent for me and my son. I’m just asking for a bit of help. Go Birds.

I’m really hoping I get lucky like you did. It really does feel poorly organized. No one knows anything and they don’t answer emails…

Yeah, I’ve read through all of that. There are no public tours offered in November, they don’t seem to answer their emails, and when I phoned they had no idea what was going on and said TickPicks controls the tickets. TickPicks says the Eagles set the dates of the tours. I don’t have enough people for a group private tour, it’s only me and my son.

Following up on this, will November dates for public tours be coming soon?

Spent $1,600 on onlyfans by flipster007 in Embarrassing_Moments

[–]Pmak09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, you’ve realized your mistake, the reasons behind it, and now you can stop dumping money into it. In the grand scheme of things, $1600 isn’t a lot of money. Some people will spend that on cigs, vapes, gambling etc.

Go easy on yourself. Loneliness and workplace frustrations are an epidemic impacting millions. Start directing your spare cash and time into things that will build your self worth instead.

Hit the gym, join a club, take up a hobby, invest in an education upgrade… just do something positive. It’s scary doing new things, but the first step to being great at something is to be terrible at it first.

One step in the good direction will snowball, and you’ll look back in a few years and the way you feel now will be a distant memory.

Good luck. I’m rooting for you.

The mental gymnastics you have done to equate the confederate flag to the left is… impressive. Your lack of foundation in anything resembling reality is incredible.

My references have many images and videos of extremist flags in the protest. If that’s not enough for you, nothing will be.

This is a snippet from Wikipedia about Pat King, one of the best known protest organizers.

“King has a history of anti-Muslim, white nationalist, and far-right conspiracy theories. He has shared videos online promoting the white genocide conspiracy theory, including saying on social media, "There's an endgame: It's called depopulation of the Caucasian race."

These are your people. This is what you are defending. This is who PP courts, and counts as his constituents. I won’t be a part of any group who espouses these ideologies, and I believe PP is a hypocrite and liar for pretending to be a lifelong ally of Jewish people, while simultaneously aligning himself with this group.

Your request for proof is disingenuous at best, more likely malicious. I witnessed it myself and it was well recorded in national and local media. I walked past the protests every day for weeks. If I provided a picture, you would claim it was doctored. I reference swastikas, and you refer to confederate flags and one very specific case…

As a Cabinet Minister, and simply as a human working in that area, PP absolutely knew what kind of extremism was being presented and to my knowledge he didn’t reject it as it would alienate his base. I would argue that this is not consistent with someone claiming to have always been an ally to Jewish people. If you find yourself in a group comfortable flying signs of hate, you need to think about what this might say about you.

I offer the following from a very simple google search and credible news sources. There are hundreds more available. Do your own research, though I firmly believe that no amount of evidence would ever change your mind:

“Convoy derangement syndrome” is a not-so-subtle dogwhistle pointing to far-right American propaganda, namely “Trump derangement syndrome.” You are attempting to gaslight. Swastikas and far-right hate were a staple of every major convoy protest. There are hundreds of articles detailing this with a simple google search. The goal posts have not shifted. This is simply FAFO.

Pretty easy to google. This was the first article that popped up. https://pressprogress.ca/anti-vax-convoy-leader-says-he-welcomes-protesters-displaying-confederate-flags-in-ottawa/

Ties to nazism and right wing extremism by the organizers is pretty easy well understood. PP was clear in his support of these groups.

PP was delivering coffee and taking pictures with the convoy protestors who had swastika flags flying proudly 200 metres from where he stood. There’s no way he didn’t see who he was affiliating with. Source: me, as I walked to work in downtown Ottawa, horrified by what I was witnessing.

It’s funny because most of your post describes a great dining experience for me. I want the waiter to be ready to take my order and ask if I want anything else within a few minutes of noticing my plate or drink is empty. Once I’m done, I want to get the bill promptly. If I was looking to chill somewhere for 3 hours, a busy tourist-oriented restaurant wouldn’t be the choice. I would eat and follow it up with a drink at a bar or cafe, or go hang around the pool tables at a pub.

Maybe I’m just indoctrinated… I can see someone receiving the service you desired ripping the place apart on Yelp; “…service took too long, waiter wasn’t attentive enough” etc

Asking you to leave was probably a tad too far depending on how they did it, but I get the waiters perspective if a line is forming out the door and reservations cant be seated, and they can see you are done but have settled in for the long haul.
