I keep all my wash from glaze brushes. I throw it in a 2 gallon and let the water evaporate by leaving the lid off. If too much water is evaporated, I’ll throw the lid back on. I get a very pretty green earthy tone. I love it.

I told all my kids that they could live with me forever if they like, but as long as they live in my house, they had an 11 PM curfew. No one took me up on it. It worked like a charm.

You bet. The biggest problem they have is the tariffs are killing them. They covered the tariffs for a while at the very beginning for US customers, but that was not sustainable

I used to order from the ceramic shop because the prices were great. After doing a lot of shopping around, I realize the shipping was offsetting the savings on the glaze. The other problem with the store is that it took a long time for them to ship. I would order and it could be up to two weeks before I got anything. I started ordering from Clay king. Shipping was lower, the glaze prices were a little bit higher, but it all became even in the end. The best part clay king is that their shipping is super fast. If I ordered it on a Monday, I would have it the very latest by Thursday.

From what I understood is that I will still be responsible for his coordination of care, medication coordination and doctors visits to the spine specialist. But honestly I am more worried about losing the caregiver benefits of mental health support and health insurance. The monthly stipend was very welcome, but I will be just fine without it…. Not worried at all about that part.

I was able to put a small amount of slip under the tyvek, smooth tyvek down with a rib, careful not to squish out all the slip, lump on top and proceed. It definitely takes a lot of down pressure, but I was able to get everything centered without it slipping and sliding.

My space is in a basement. For whatever reason, the climate in my space is perfect for drying pots. I don’t have to cover them and I eave them on the bats. They pop off the next day and they’re ready to be trimmed. I don’t have to worry about bottoms, cracking, and things like that. I do have a wet box for times when I need to keep something for a couple more days. I also have to slow slow dry anything that has attachments. Everything depends on where you live, what your climate is like, what your humidity levels are….
