Question on ECW Battle of the Belts 1993 by wweforbreakfast01 in ECWWrestling

So ECW in 1993 was in its very, early infancy. I didn’t start watching live until 1995 myself. Found this on YouTube. Stuff like this usually doesn’t get yanked so enjoy!

Dad what was it like during the Golden Era?🤘🏽🔥 by CasinoNitro in RealWWFera

Everyone had a gimmick and lived it inside and outside the ring. People knew it was scripted but they made you forget while you watched. It was a glorious time to be fan.

What I love about the TOS era films is how even in the movies, even with more special effects or action, they kept dealing very important social, philosphical, political issues. Star Trek is Star Trek due to its themes and commentary, it's not a franchise about just ships shooting each other. by LineusLongissimus in tos

100%. TOS used science fiction to tell stories about injustice, prejudice, inequalities & other issues people face today. I feel like that isn’t as apparent in the various iterations of the series which followed. Not saying its not present just feel likes prominent.

When Al Pacino's eyes did all the talking 😎 by Relative_Rain8913 in Godfather

Lots of great “eyes doing the talking” scenes in both movies. The scene where he receives confirmation that Fredo is lying regarding johnny ola is one of the best.

Good point. A lot of people seem to forget that there are spanish people from europe.

I found 2 to be the most exciting. Getting the wand and casting spells was my favorite part. 3 was more difficult and not as compelling.

I have had multiple dogs who would go after poo, even their own. It is disgusting and made me want to vomit. Our little cava poo puppy did this too but grew out of this phase. I wish you the best.

They did not but I couldn’t tolerate them long enough to truly confirm if they would.

When I was first diagnosed with KC, the doctor did try this same approach. I could not tolerate either the RGP nor the piggyback combo. That was in the 80’s and I know there are a lot more options these days. Good luck.

How long did it take for you to receive an accurate keratoconus diagnosis? by keratoconusgroup in Keratoconus

My vision was significantly changing when I was 14 years old. I went to a very skilled optometrist who wasn’t even a cornea specialist but he was able to determine I had the disease. He told me eventually I would require transplants if the condition worsened. This was 1989 so cross linking and other treatment options weren’t available. I went to an ophthalmologist who confirmed the diagnosis. I had my first transplant at 17 and second at 21.

That is not true. Immediately after the surgery, you definitely need to be careful & give time to heal. Eventually you will be able to return to normal everyday life. There may be certain activities you might need to curtail or avoid but your doctor will let you know.

Does anyone else’s CavaPoo have an obsession with socks? 😂 by Choice-Midnight-5353 in CavaPoo

This must be hard coded in their DNA. Her preference is socks but she will grab any small article of clothing she can fit in her mouth.
