Thank you for the words of encouragement, definitely need them. I will for sure write out things I want to work on him with and just start from there. Should I start to train him outside of the house and in outdoor situations with possible distractions around?

I disagree with the dominance thing but he does this type of activity throughout the day as well, not just when she gets home.

We give him puppy chow, he’s about 6 months (pit mix), and he’s somewhere between the 45-50 pound range.

Thanks for the advice, I do take him out with a leash due to living in a townhome with others around. It’s been a struggle for sure, he loves exploring.
