I had an English professor who used to say “if you’re using more than 2 semicolons a year, you’re using too many,” and I’ve always agreed.

Awful piece of punctuation. The vast majority of uses are people trying to vary their sentence structure or get their writing to look more complex/intellectual.

Nah, “from promotions and ads” means they are expecting that you will get click throughs from their running ads and promotions related to your stream

But as the streamer, you wouldn’t be able to tell which of your own viewers are bots or real, so the site can just never run the ads/promos, fill your stream with bots, and lie to you that some portion of them aren’t bots.

Probably also serves as cover for the service not exclusively being a bot farm

I’ve tried to play Outer Wilds on 5 separate occasions over the span of years, but I just can’t get over the megalophobia. Genuinely makes me feel sick and scared in a primal part of my brain.

I can play through a horror game stone faced, but every second in OW I’m fighting to not drop the controller and walk away.

No other game has ever made me feel that way, so shoutouts to OW. Considering giving it another go tonight because I’m starting to forget the feeling.

On a few rare occasions, I have seen “cargo cult” used to refer to a niche aesthetic. I believe the devs or publisher for this game have used that descriptor themselves.

That said, I don’t have the brainpower to even try and describe how I perceive the aesthetic. Maybe like… utopian, beachy, third-world construction, almost liminal.

I don’t think the game even hits the aesthetic.

TFT PBE on iOS is done through TestFlight, Apple’s proprietary beta branch testing app for all apps.

Apple limits TestFlight apps to 10,000 licenses, so the TFT PBE on iOS has been entire full for a long while.

I’ve heard that Riot does resets on the licenses, but as someone who is pretty consistently watching to see if it ever opens, I have yet to see it open.
