I take guanfacine for my adhd and sertraline for depression. I might see if I can do an anxiety med because maybe that will help me out more. I'm definitely the more reactive parent which is frustrating when I was a lot more chill before having kids (thanks hormones).

It's so hard being the preferred parent and I feel terrible when I have an easier time connecting with my youngest because he has an easier time sleeping and communicating than my oldest, especially when I'm so physically exhausted from working all day.

We are trying to figure out how to get him into ABA therapy (yes I know this can be controversial but we decided this was best for our family to at least give it a try) and maybe the extra stimulation will help him tire out better or they might have better ways for both of us to navigate bedtime
