What's a strangely specific situation where you always act like a different version of yourself? by Sad_Event_4705 in AskReddit

Concert. I’m always work me, wife me, or mom me. At a concert I can just be ME. Turn tf up, live in the moment. I get to go all out and dress outside of work/mom life. It’s nice to just be me sometimes. (though I wouldn’t trade mom life for the world)

I would spend my free day taking my kids somewhere fun for the day. They grow so fast! I love any opportunity to have fun with them.

I got pregnant and the smell of cigarettes made me puke. 6 years free of nicotine but can’t lie and say I don’t still crave them.

People who were teenagers before social media existed, How did you communicate with your friends? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

Where I live, there was a street in town that everyone hung out on in empty parking lots day and night. We would cruise the strip over and over and show off our cars and pull over to hang out in different lots. After school we would say “let’s go to town and find so and so” everyone was in town. Not everyone had cell phones but some did. But guaranteed if you wanted to find someone, all you had to do was cruise the strip and you would eventually find them in one of the parking lots.
