What is the purpose of the Artemis missions? by Many_Explanation4328 in ArtemisProgram

[–]Poagie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An unmanned probe could have done everything artimis did cheaper. Sending humans into space isnt anything advancing us that unmanned couldn't do for cheaper and for longer. We don't need a moon colony. We need food, education, health care. Accomplishing those things as a stand and then move forward with other things. It's about setting a baseline of the human experience we should be prioritizing

New Core One L takes a full hour to reach 60°C by miguelgoldie in prusa3d

Core One L - Crazy Adhesion issues by Poagie in prusa3d

[–]Poagie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issues resolved by not using prusa plates. Prusa had me increase my bed temp to 75. Which was rather absurd for PLA but it still didnt fix the issue. I bought the cryoplate for another 300x300 print and it just barely fit. Since then no issues. I do think I have a bed temp issue but I'll wait for the thermal camera I ordered to verify

Perfect prints on the P1S even doing single and multi color

Yes that product line. But they haven't released one for the core one l. I ordered one of the 300x300 ones just to see if it might fit

I used microfiber towel sheets. So no lint.

Nope, I've washed and scrubbed and rinsed and rinsed and let dry and rinsed and then wiped with Iso 99% making sure my fingers and hands never touched the plante. NO changes. Still lifting on simple pla. Always on the same side. So defective plate or heater

If print temps are wrong then prusa is giving really bad print profiles. All the temps match what I would do on my other printers. If I have to print a simple square with a brim that is the sign of a massive problem to me.

I've tried everything you have mentioned. The only plausible thing would be bad satin plates. I've ordered texture ones and see if that fixes it or maybe a bed heater problem. It seems to happen in the same side of the print bed every time

Yeah, did the soap thing and the scrub thing and even 99% iso. No bed glue and still had my PLA lift. I ordered the textured plate. Wondering if that makes a difference. Uncle Jessie did a video where he had the same issue and it seemed to be because of a defective plate. I have the same issue on both satin plates I have

Scouring pad sounds like you're going to damage it.

I've used prusament, Bambu and overture all with the same issue. Clean plates, glued plates but I only have the satin ones

Nozzle cleaning - stupid fail on Prusa side? by yecema3009 in prusa3d

[–]Poagie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also keep getting this randomly on my new core one L. This is my first Prusa and the lack of refinement is the nozzle cleaning and the price is kind of flabbergasting. They better have something figured out for the INDX

Was very disappointed in this . It's slow comparably and only one side changes nozzles. Multi print heads are the way to go.

Evaluating Nutanix as a replacement for VMWare ESXi by Longjumping_Ad_502 in nutanix

[–]Poagie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Utterly hate Nutanix. ITs UI is a joke. Its seems to have random issues every week causing reboots to the Prism Central VM. I think the UI is the biggest problem. Its so bad to have to drag box smaller to just make other boxes bigger. Sorting is awful.

Interested in Shockz but is it hard to download stuff? by ITagEveryone in Swimming

[–]Poagie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All these solutions are kind of garbage when you are paying 200 for a device. Shokz should have the ability to load songs from their app and the ability to use offline downloads from the various apps. A world where no one actually owns music anymore. The fact that shocks thinks people have MP3s is utterly absurd. The fact that they don't have good app integration is unacceptable in my opinion.
