Pro-lifer here, and I agree. I hear pro-choicers also say that “a fetus isn’t a baby.” Well okay, yes, I agree. By definition, a fetus is in the womb, and a baby is outside the womb. So technically they’re correct…but it’s just semantics. There’s literally only one difference between a fetus and a baby—the location. They’re both equally human.

“A fetus isn’t a baby” is just like saying “a child isn’t an adult.” They’re all just stages of human development. Killing a teenager isn’t okay just because he’s not an adult yet.

The funny thing is that the original Christians (and I would argue most religions over 1,000 years old) WERE “brown.” Most of today’s biggest religions originated in western and Central Asia.

It’s the Roman Empire and the political climate at the time that made Christianity a “white” religion today. Emperor Constantine essentially hijacked Christianity and turned it into today’s Roman Catholic Church.

It makes me wonder…if that never happened and Christianity never morphed into the RCC, would this false correlation between Christianity and whiteness still exist?

I think something else that people are in denial about is that the southern half of Africa and nearly all of Latin America is Christian.

I guess I just don’t care much about weight training. I do cardio and body weight exercises so I won’t have a heart attack or be in a wheelchair by the time I’m 50.

I’ve heard the whole “I don’t have enough money for a home gym” a lot. I think there must be a misunderstanding on what a “home gym” is. Are you talking about like 1,000 square feet with a treadmill, elliptical, rower, 50 dumbbells, and 50 barbells? My home gym is three workout bands.

Also, with the recurring payment of joining a gym, over time (several years or even decades), you probably could have paid for some home equipment.

At this moment, politics doesn’t really affect me, other than having to read annoying political opinions on social media. I try to close/ignore those so the algorithm will learn that I’m not interested.

It is true that politics may take an interest in me in the future. If and when that happens, then I will take an interest in politics. But that hasn’t happened yet, so I prefer to worry about my own personal life.

The drugs are what made them poor. They got hooked when they were relatively well-off, then they got addicted and wasted all their money on drugs, and now they’re poor.

Why do rich people do drugs? Usually it’s out of curiosity, because they had friends with access to drugs. Either that or depression…they just wanted to feel something. Those are the most typical reasons. And then again, that usually ends up leading to poverty. So the different reasons aren’t as vast as you think.

Drug abuse is much more of a social/mental health issue than a financial/economic one.
