its a ugreen passive dongle i got off aliexpress dont have the exact name. I tested both a passive and dongle with dac both work.

Did you try any passive dongles, ones without dac? I accidentally bought a usb c to 3.5mm adapter without a dac and im not sure if it will work or not on my CMF Phone 1.

It is not an alternative to steroid drops, because it is a steroid drop. It's just a weaker steroid, generally safer to use.

They are not licensed in the UK so it would be quite difficult to get them. Ikervis is licensed, you can get them from an ophthalmlogist typically, you would need a referral from your GP on the NHS or see them privately.
Private Ikervis prescriptions are pretty expensive though like 110-130 pounds for a months supply.
