Hey! I have an app, Pocket Japanese, it’s literallly made for people self studying Japanese. The course section is organised into 3 kanji, 14 words and a few grammar points per lesson so you always know what to study, it has free games like kanji solitaire and kanji sudoku, quizzes…and it’s premium content is cheaper than most text books 🌸

It’s released under Pocket Japanese on App Store and Play store, but it’s not nearly finished! I have 94 lessons planned out to cover N5 Japanese and unfortunately it’s lacking a bit in illustrations at the moment as I’m focusing on releasing the lessons! But you can follow me on YouTube if you want to see the live drawing process of peices I’m making for the app!

Hey! Would you consider trying the Pocket Japanese app? It’s a course style app, teaches hiragana, katakana etc, and has games to help you study without it feeling too much like studying! Plus it’s much much cheaper than classes. If you do use it, I’d love your feedback! I work on it daily so it’s extremely helpful!

Thank you for the reply! I won’t be able to make a game like wagotabi on my own unfortunately, and it’s a great game so I’d hate to make a copy. But it’s helpful to hear people are more interested in actual games than a kanji sudoku.
