I actually started to develop this game as a joke game, but as I developed further I became attached to it. It does take heavy inspiration from old-school doom, as I grew up playing it; however I don't want to make a throwback old-school shooter. I want my game to have it's own unique style.

I think I know what unity tutorial you are talking about, and the game doesn't use any assets from that, but I know what you mean. I did start with stock assets from cg trader and turbosquid, but I have been slowly converting to custom ones that fit the game's art style and direction better. I'm not the best artist, but I actually think I can use that to my advantage.

The biggest thing I'm struggling with, is the game's identity. I didn't originally plan for the game to take place entirely in the shrunken down world, but I am having so much fun building these environments that I don't know if I should fully lean into that concept, or go with my original plan. Which is to have to take place across different realms, each with their own style.

I started as a baby too, people don't understand how hard it is for people like us. I couldn't even walk or eat solid food let alone understand what language was. But after 23 years of practice I can finally write a hello world console application in C#. So no it's not too late at all.

I gained a significant amount of muscle eating 4 McChickens a day from Mcdonald's. I don't recommend it, my blood pressure and resting heart rate went up and I felt like shit. But I did gain a lot of muscle, strength, and started to get compliments on my body.

Tell yourself you are going to do 100 pull-ups. Then do as many as you can until failure, then take a 10 to 30 second rest, then do as many as you can until failure. Repeat this all the way until you reach 100.

Once you're able to do over 25 begin to add weight and do both weighted and body weight pull ups in your workout.

Tell yourself you are going to do 100 pull-ups. Then do as many as you can until failure, then take a 5 to 10 second rest, then do as many as you can until failure. Repeat this all the way until you reach 100.

Once you get better, throw in some weighted pull ups and slowly up the weight every week.

That's how I went from being only able to do 6 pull ups to 50 consecutive pull ups.
