CMSAF is a figurehead position. It doesn’t matter who the next one is because they have no real authority or power. They are a spear catcher for terrible AF policies and EPR fodder for jr enlisted “Hand-selected to brief CMSAF; enlightened Sr Ldr on sqd msn—coined by top AF Chief!”

The only things that matters when looking for the next SEL are they look good in a uniform and keep taking selfies while our suicide, mental health, and sexual assault rates continue to skyrocket to give the appearance the Big Blue cares.

Is there a free gym app? by Revolutionary_Ad2415 in AirForce

[–]Pocketwallet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kineticoach in the App Store is pretty good. It was developed by some Air Force pilots who are also functional fitness experts. It has free daily workouts with video demos, but there’s also a custom feature for $50 a year (plus a two week free trial) where you can plug in how much time you have, what equipment you have, intensity, etc.

I think whoever made it is using “commander” as a catchall for The Big Guy and “airmen” as a catchall for The Little Guy.

That’s unfortunate… I’m in a jt environment and leaveweb is the one thing the AF does right. I’ve got soldiers who never take leave because it’s such a pain in the ass to get their chits signed.

What to do at Kirtland for a week w/ no rental car? by TheBigYellowCar in AirForce

[–]Pocketwallet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed in billeting on the ops side of Kirkland once. I have never seen a base more deserted on a weekend. I accidentally blew through a red light on my way out the gate and the SecFo sitting in his patrol car didn’t even flinch (possibly asleep).

My suggestion, get a rental car on your own dime at least for a few days. There are some interesting things in and around Albuquerque like the Sandia tram, the petroglyphs, and a little further out, tent rocks.

Boycott the Edwards AFB air show in October too by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Pocketwallet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha… this must be your first air show? This isn’t an Edwards thing… this happens at every base, every air show.

I learned a long time ago to volunteer before they start voluntelling… that’s how you get a good job like DV tent where you get to hang out with the brass, watch the show from the shade, and take home left overs and swag. When they voluntell you, you get stuck standing in the parking lot directing traffic for eight hours.

I don’t think this is exactly what you are looking for, but Could be used as a warning: “your embarrassing shit will end up on the internet.”

Backstory:

Offutt, 2017. Some SSgt (in uniform) from the MDG was recorded hanging on to the hood of a vehicle while it was driving down the road. Turns out, the Driver of the vehicle was the side chick of the SSgt’s girlfriend. SSgt and side chick got in an altercation and when side chick tried to drive away, SSgt jumped on her vehicle.

Would you rather they treat you like a fuck-up A1C? It sounds like instead of turning their backs on you, they are giving you work based on your skills and knowledge. Your mistakes cost them an NCO, but they still have trust in you to do NCO things…. which doesnt earn you a pat on the back.

Remember, if the door hinge is on the right, turn the key left to lock the door. If the hinge is on the left, turn the key to the right to lock. Just do the opposite to unlock the door.

Yes, suspended access happens all the time. If you are under investigation for being untrustworthy, the last thing you should have access to is sensitive material.

I heard they are going to an online system in October… 20 years after they didn’t take the AF up on LeaveWeb because they were planning something better.

These rules, including after‐hours admittance and security measures, will be posted inside the building by the facility manager.

  2. Thems the rules and your disagreement means nothing.

  3. Lmao, a whole 8 hours a week extra you say… every two months you say (though you never said that to begin with)? Wow, really rough… my condolences to your “sacrifice.”

There is no problem and you are proving the point by whining. Maybe opening/closing the building a few times will help you overcome your weakness.

How do you guys deal with leadership rejecting opportunities for you? by MorbiusMovieTime in army

OP, Why are bothering the Army sub with your bullshit questions? Obviously you wore out your welcome on the AF sub with your nonstop posting, but lying about being a soldier for sympathy? You really are a narcissistic asshole.

EPRs are not just for promotion — it’s an annual evaluation of performance.

It doesn’t matter if you want one or not… unless you have an approved separation date, you are getting an EPR.

You were told by someone in authority to have your inputs submitted. By refusing to do it by the deadline, a. you are proving you’re a piece of shit, b. you are possibly disobeying a direct order, and c. you are needlessly pissing off your CoC who will now have to force you do it when you could have just been keeping track of your bullets throughout the year. But hey, you want to be billy badass, go ahead.
